Our office was founded by Toluca Lake/Burbank periodontist Dr. David F. Levine. Dr. David Levine has been practicing since 1990 and he has been featured in publications across the country. Dr. Levine is a board-certified periodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He specializes in the treatment of gum disease, soft tissue reconstructive plastic surgery and surgical placement of dental implants.

Our Toluca Lake/Burbank periodontic & implantology practice is devoted to restoring your dental health using conservative, state-of-the-art periodontal procedures. Dr. David Levine and his staff specialize in treating periodontal diseases (a persistent infection in the soft tissue of your mouth).
For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, money orders and major credit cards including, VISA, MasterCard & AMERICAN EXPRESS. Payment is expected at the time services are performed. When more extensive dental care is necessary, financial arrangements can be made with our office. Please contact our dental office if you have any questions regarding the insurance plans we accept.
Our Online Patient Portal facilitates better communication with our practice by providing established patients convenient and secure access 24 x 7. Although this tool is designed to be a convenient resource for our patients, it should not take the place of any important communications about your care.
Your initial appointment will consist of a thorough exam which will include looking for any abnormalities that may have gone undetected prior to your referral to our office. A series of radiographs may also be taken. An explanation of our finding and a treatment plan will be devised and sequenced. Financial arrangements will be discussed at the first visit or a subsequent consultation.

I was referred by my dentist to Dr. Diana Sedler, in Dr. Levine's office. My prior dentist had neglected to notice a cavity between a back tooth and the tooth next to it, which already had a crown. He extracted the back tooth and did a root canal and new crown on the other. It was horrible. I had severe swelling, bleeding, and it took 1 1 /2 years for the numbness in my lip to go away. I was referred to Dr Levine's office by my current dentist Dr Chetty for an implant. First I have have to explain I'm seriously afraid of dentists, but I wasn't going to go without a tooth. My surgeon was Dr. Choe at this facility, he took the time to explain from start to finish what was going to transpire on my consultation. This review is for Dr. Choe. I have had a few dental procedures like extractions and implants in my lifetime and it can cause anxiety, pain and fear not knowing what to expect. My experience with Dr. Choe was the best ever with minimal discomfort or pain and quick healing. The way he explained the procedure in detail before the procedure, his attention to detail and the gentle technique during extractions of multiple teeth was better that I ever experience before. I'm so grateful to have Dr. Levine and his office as my go-to dentist for implants. Despite the coronavirus causing shut-downs of medical offices, he managed to get me in as a patient before he closed his office. He and his staff are patient-centered and incredibly knowledegeable, thorough experts. I've never experienced pain in their procedures, and they keep patient anxiety down to a minimum. I highly recommend this office.

BEWARE!! This dental office tries to perform expensive dental procedures that aren't needed! One of the dentists tried convincing me to have him perform (and bill my insurance) for about $4,000+ worth of periodontal work that wasn't needed! First, to be fair, I was referred to Dr. Levine for an initial consultation, but since he had no openings for two months, I met instead with his associate Dr. Choe.

Had a couple extractions done here and recently an implant. I cant believe how easy and quick the implant was. Dr Levine and the assistants are amazing especially Maha she kept me very relaxed and im an extremely nervous patient. Dr. Levine, his associates, assistants and front desk staff are superb! Thankfully, I only needed a small procedure to fix a receding gum on 1 tooth. It was a front top tooth. It honestly bothered me so much because it wasn't symmetrical. Don't brush too hard! That's what I did without knowing and over a period of time it got worse. Sure, my teeth aren't anywhere close to the regular patients that come through but I wanted and needed this fixed.

Dr. Levine was fantastic! I had oral surgery yesterday and expected it to be difficult and painful however on the contrary it went smoothly and I am not in any pain just the normal dIscomfort after any surgery. I have been a patient of Dr. Levine for 25+ years and counting. I started seeing Dr. Levine 25+ years ago to get my teeth cleaned as his hygienists do amazing deep cleaning. I went to Dr. Levine because he was conveniently located in Burbank near my employment at the studios nearby.

Dr. Levine and his staff are TOP NOTCH. I was referred to his office two years ago or so by my primary dentist Raymond Ricci, also a great guy, because they wanted to keep an eye on my gum recession.
Well the day finally came and I needed to have gum graft surgery (March 22). I was very scared especially when I was told I would be awake for the procedure. I needn't have worried. Dr Levine's office used to be great but the last two times they canceled me and I don't live in Burbank I live far and I was already on my way they canceled me they called to confirm an appointment I didn't even have another appointment

Dr. Levine has been my doctor for the past years and my dental health has improved since my first visit almost five years ago. My teeth were in need of attention and quite a few procedures; not to mention (very) frequent dental cleaning. However, and since my last visit a few days ago, under Dr. Levine's supervision and his team's great care; my dental "score card" has improved so much, that I only need to go once every 6-12 months (just for the cleaning). Many thanks to Dr. Levine, his great hygienists, and excellent dental assistants.

Is there anything worse that a periodontist (gum specialist) referral? Yes. An endodontist (root canal) referral. That is going to hurt.
Back to the periodontist ... Dr. David Levine is a hit. Referred by my general dentist, Dr. Levine is a Delta Dental provider and, though many perio procedures are not covered by insurance, the Delta coverage is as good as it gets. Be prepared, though, for a jaw dropping co-pay. Of course, the jaw itself is saved, so it's a win.

I highly recommend Dr. Levine. I had to have a implant done. First visit; tooth extraction, stitches - zero pain. On my way home I stopped for a sandwich. Seriously, numbness and pain not there. I am a dental, no a pain chicken. I found the guy to go to! Staff great, offices great and of course the doctor himself really great - Highly Recommend

Dr. Levine is terrific! I have not had much teeth work until the last year or so, and I needed an implant. Dr. Levine is careful, professional, and he talked me through every step of the procedure. His office is CLEAN, calming, and his staff is great. I hope I don't need to see him again, but if I need another implant, I will certainly see Dr. Levine!
