We have been successfully installing attractive and highly-functional garage floors for over 7 years. We started in New Mexico in 2008, since then we have installed over 600 coatings. With our continued success we decided it was time to grow, and we now have partners operating in three states. Each of our locations is independently owned and operated, no franchises.
Most garage floor coating companies utilize general laborers for the installation, I personally install every coating myself. In fact, many companies are simply a turn-key business that anyone can purchase, the owner may or may not have related experience, and they typically employ general laborers who don't have coating experience to install your floor.
We will begin by clearing the surface of dirt and debris, and we will remove oil and other stains no matter how bad they are. Repairs will be performed as necessary. Cracks, damage, voids, and spalled concrete will all be filled and feathered out, and will be almost invisible once the coating is finished.
A normal installation requires 6-12 hours, spread over 1, 2, or 3 days, depending on the specific job and conditions. In most cases, you can walk on it and start moving stuff back in the morning after we finish. We advise not to drive on it or move heavy objects onto it for 48-hours. It depends on the specific conditions of the job.

Carl and his team at NC Garage Floors are true to their word. I had my home built and had the builder lay down epoxy. Unfortunately, they used an over the counter kit that stained and peeled. However, Carl's quality materials and skill in laying down real epoxy has resulted in an amazing garage. Thank you for the great job Carl! See the before and after photos.

Carl and his team did an awesome job on our garage floor. We couldn't have asked for a better or more tailored approach. Carl spent significant time with us to determine the finalized color/finish for our floor. We also felt at ease working with Carl as he has a friendly and casual style but that "ease" of doing work does not compromise a GREAT end product. Excellent Service and Quality! Carl really knows what he is doing and loves his craft. He takes pride in his work. He and his co-worker had a great rhythm and cadence which is required when working with fast-setting epoxy and materials! He gave me a great deal; but more importantly described the process in detail and stayed true to his word.
