Returned home from vacation to find our heater wasn't working. Dana at Economy was able to schedule us first thing the next morning, which was Christmas Eve. However, there was a schedule change on their end and because of the holiday, they were able to have someone come out right away. We will need further service, but Anthony was able to patch our heater to get us through the holiday. Not only fast service, but a genuine concern that helped save our vacation and our holiday!

Had issue with main drain around midnight, was able to get someone out the next morning. Luckily it was solved right away with a snake. Main reason for the positive review was the responsiveness. Left a message on their landline within minutes got a text asking for my address and to explain the issue a little more.

I selected Economy based on recommendations on the South Philadelphia community web site. And they deserved all the praise I had read. Appt was scheduled for same day I called for one, I was given a time frame for their arrival, and at the scheduled time...they were there. They had to try several methods to clear the drain, but they did it and they even cleaned up the residue. Price was good, service was terrific. Highly recommended.

Our main sewer was clogged leaving us unable to use the toilets, shower, sinks, etc. I fruitlessly called plumbers we'd used in the past; no one even bothered to return calls or follow-up. We called for an emergency issue and April stated she would call us back with a meeting for an estimate. We called twice and again she stated we would get back to us. Three days later , two gentlemen come by the house (one in slippers) to give us an estimate. Very unprofessional. If I'm willing to spend 5k on a job, I would at least hope I'd get a call back on time alongside someone with some sort of etiquette as far as uniform. Would not recommend to anyone.

After having my sewer line back up twice in two years due to root intrusions in the terracotta (!) pipe, I decided it was time to replace rather than just clear the line. Travas was one of 3 plumbers that came to assess the issue. I was impressed with his knowledge of and comfort with excavation. He offered a fair price and followed through on everything as promised. Emails and texts were promptly returned, questions thoroughly answered, online payment was easy, and permits and inspection handled without incident. We woke up to water in basement and they had Anthony out to visit us within a few hours. He took the time to show us exactly what was wrong (cracked drain) and how he planned to fix it. When he was here, he made sure we understood everything he was doing and got the drain repaired in a morning. He and Steven were very conscious about COVID. They also did a wonderful job cleaning up. We will use them again for any future issues and we recommend them.
