Kia's FR Dance is Reno's most diverse and contemporary dance studio, offering dance in all styles, at all levels and for all ages. In addition to dance and dance technique, we have Musical Theater, Parkour, Aerial Silks, and Northern Nevada's only Special Needs dance program. We have been happily influencing thousands of students through the medium of Dance with a multi-talented cast of experienced teachers since 1994!
We know great technique can be FUN to learn! We also have a successful Competition Crew and produce an original musical every year - FR Dance's "Library" series: A Night at the Library; Another Night at the Library; A Haunted Night at the Library; and Jack and the Bookstack - which has been invited to perform for Artown, Nevada's Reading Conference, and at local schools.

Important note: the advancement of dance levels is often not accomplished in simply one year of lessons; in the art of dance is much more intricate and complicated than moving up in levels via a yearly time frame or by age.
Please remember that all classes are taught by current/former professional performers who - in addition to their stage experience - are also highly trained and knowledgeable teachers and therefore are the most qualified persons to place students in the proper class level for the student's best personal instruction.

Kia's FR Dance is proud to have a highly-qualified staff of teachers who bring a wide assortment of talents to our classes. Most are either former or current professional performers with years of experience in the wild and wonderful world of dance and entertainment. We are also proud of our younger teachers that bring great enthusiasm and fresh ideas to round out our multifaceted staff.
It is my belief that all children initially come to us as pure, faultless young beings whose angel wings of innocence are then either groomed or clipped by various surroundings, inputs, reactions, and environments, whether it be at home, a friend's house, school, or simply by listening to the radio, watching television, playing video games, and so on.
That is a VERY good question! The physical address of the studio is: 9736 South Virginia Street, Suite E, South Reno 89511, but we are off the immediate roadway of Virginia Street. We are conveniently located off US 395, north of the South Meadows Parkway WINCO grocery store and Nu Yalk Pizza in the Foothill Commerce Center (FCC).
