We've removed the motor and cleaned it, cleaned the sump oil pan that had 60 years of old gummy oil in it, replaced the gasket and added new hex bolts. We removed and cleaned the carburetor. The front forks appear to be bad but we bought another set of used forks that we plan to rebuild. Or we may use more modern forks for it (such as a Honda 125 fork or something from SSR).

A: Yes, for two + years we were your local rental provider. However, a large rental chain moved to town in 2018 and the Walmart effect has hurt that aspect of our business. So with regret we decided to close down the rental business. We may be coming back with smaller moped rentals in the near future.

My expectations for a motorcycle shop have been whittled down to exceedingly low over the 30 years that I've owned bikes. Thanks to Tim and the gang at Piston Society, there is a model shop for all future bike shops to emulate. Most shops are huge, impersonal and staffed with a majority of disinterested folks who really offer no value. Piston society is the complete opposite. Small shop led by Tim, small inventory of bikes, and attentive staff. Happy to see you when you walk in the door, happy to help while you're there. Great place to buy or service your Zero!

Piston Society, like "Metro Scooter" is a life style motorcycle shop. It isn't just about selling bikes. These shops insure customer retention by being genuinely interested in the well being of those who've purchased from them. They back you when your bike has a problem, and celebrate with you when things go well. They ride with you, and organize rides regularly, in an effort to get to know their people. Between Metro Scooter, and Piston Society I'll never go anywhere else to purchase a motorcycle.

They have a great selection of motorcycle gear including helmets, jackets, boots, and even tank bags. They also sell a variety of motorcycles both used and new. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and they even helped me get plugged into the local motorcycle scene and invited me on some group rides! I highly recommend Piston Society for all your motorcycle needs.

The lady who was working was really good to work with. I was shopping force bike for my wife, so having the insights a lady could give was beyond helpful. It took so much guesswork out of the process, to have a person of similar height, to work with. They also carry Zero brand ELECTRIC motorcycles, which is something in which I was interested. If I'd known these two facts, they would have been my first stop!

Chris and Tim were excellent to deal with. The process of buying and picking up my new bike was as hassle-free as I could hope for, and after going over the features with me, I was assisted in loading it up so I could take it home.
It was a smooth buying experience, and I would recommend giving them a call or stopping in to the shop if you are looking for a new ride and a good dealer to buy from.

I wish I lived in Cincinnati, because if I did I would only shop here.
I was riding through town and stopped in just to check it out, and the guy behind the counter was super friendly. After I drooled over the Zero's for a bit, he offered to take me out on a ride, and ended up giving me a quick tour of Cincinnati.
This, to a complete stranger from out of town who clearly could not purchase a Zero at that moment (but boy do I want to). It was one of the high points on my trip, and definitely an indication of a truly customer first, experience first shop.
If I ever buy a Zero, I'll pay extra just

I came in for Motoberfest weekend and rented the BMW F700GS and it was awesome. Tim, the owner, showed me the features (heated grips, lockable panniers) and recommended some fun spots to ride.
The bike was clean, almost new with 3,000 miles on it and it handled great. I rode to Rabbit Hash (about an hour southwest) and it was easy riding. Back home, I have a Suzuki SV650, which is sportier and not as comfortable to ride for more than an hour at a time; the F700, however, was easy to ride, handled well and soaked up bumps.
Next time I'm going to take it for a week!

This store is exactly what Cincinnati needed!
Tim is a great person and organizer of many events and ride-outs in the area so it comes as no surprise that he opened the coolest moto-store in town!
Finally a place where you will find a quality and stylish gear and clothing. They carry Bell helmets, which makes the ONLY store in the area that has them in stock and you can actually try the sizes on!!
The store itself is beautiful and I already purchased some cool posters.
Cannot wait to see the store grow and flourish.
Last but not least, they RENT motorcycles! Again, the ONLY place in Cincy
