The Steinmann Institute is a multi-specialty clinical facility committed to providing necessary clinical neuropsychological services specially designed to meet the needs of persons who have acquired a brain injury or who have noticed neurofunctional decline, which may, or may not, be associated with a dementing process.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Bio-Chemistry from The University of Arizona and a Clinical Psychology doctoral degree from Capella University. Prior to obtaining her doctoral degree Dr. Sugerman worked for C.O.D.I.S. and Myriad Genetics in the discovery and sequencing of disease-related genes.
Clinical trials include experimental treatments often unavailable elsewhere, which frequently lead to improved patient care for individuals worldwide. Steinmann doctors and faculty are active within the pharmo-psychiatric research community and are privy to studies which are currently producing positive results.

For the traveling business professional, or a busy mother, it can be difficult to attend regular therapy and medication management appointments. We offer web-based video conferencing appointments at the same rate, and as if you are in our clinic, for those who are not able to be physically present at the clinic during their appointment.

Dr Sugarman and her staff were very helpful with getting all the testing done for me to get my pilot medical certificate. Steinmann Institute made the process much easier and streamlined. Dr Sugarman is very knowledgeable when it comes to knowing the ins and outs of the FAA and all the documents and information that is needed to get your medical certificate. If you are having troubles with your FAA medical I recommend using Steinmann Institute to get the proper testing and documentation done to be cleared for a medical.

Dr. Sugerman and the staff at the Steinmann Institute are absolutely incredible at what they do! Dr. Sugerman has incredible wisdom when it comes to working with the FAA and with pilots. She knows exactly what they're looking for and what you need to bring when you come in. This ensures you get a quick review from the FAA and that your paperwork is received on time. When it comes to the FAA and psychologists, this type of knowledge is rare.

Dr. Sugerman is amazing! I have never called a doctors office and actually had an opportunity to speak directly with the doctor. She was very helpful and EXTREMELY knowledgeable about FAA medical certifications. I immediately felt comfortable with her. Comfortable enough to make an appointment and travel 4 hours to see her. She was absolutely wonderful with my son. She will literally fight to get things done. She is kind and sweet and again SHE KNOWS HER STUFF! I highly recommended her! If you want results, CALL HER! Sterling, her office manager is also amazing!
