When my parents started 'IOLANI they never thought their unique island based business would become a global entity. Even as their men's line set the fashion trend in Hawaii, they were still humbled and honored to see their 'IOLANI shirts being worn by US Presidents, international movie stars and just about every local man in Hawai'i.
When I took over the business in mid-1980, women's island fashions began to flourish. Using island prints, designs, and textures, the women's fashion industry exploded in Hawaii. This flagship store has put 'IOLANI in a position to design for a more discerning customer.

Services
This Kamalei (Beloved) Collection was inspired by our resident Hula Dancer, Sarah Kamalei. Sarah and our head designer, Grace, worked together to create various Hula styles that fit and flowed perfectly. With the same wrinkle free material, these dresses are perfect for the traveling or on the go girl.

I'm always looking for locally produced souvenirs so I knew I had to check this store when I went to Hawaii.
A little bit out of the way across the road from the Ala Moana Centre in a more industrial area, you have to walk up a ramp to the second floor to access the store. There is a donut shop cafe and a ukulele producer adjacent to the store as well.
Huge selection of aloha shirts for men and blouses and dresses for women, made in Hawaii, in both cotton and rayon varieties.
Staff was very attentive and friendly, and provided size charts to help me measure the sizes. I went in the late afternoon
