3. Favorite pastime? I love hiking! Exploring trails and experiencing nature clears my mind and is great for my physical health. If you weren't a health provider what would you be? God willing, I would have been Beyonce'. 7. What have you found to be the best part of working in community health in West Philly?

When I made the decision to keep my mother at that office, it was based on a few things. I. Cleaness 2.felt the Dr. was pretty good with my mother. 3. I thought the staff was nice and professional. Now, my feelings has changed, just like their ancillary staff. Mom, annual appointment has not come up, and she was out of her pressure meds. T.... the young lady who took my call from day one of me trying to get my mother refill gave me hell , she was rude and shouldn't be in customer service. I hate when I have to deal with rude folks, especially when there's a human need. My next step, I will contact

I feel very lucky to have a place like Sayre close to me especially during a time like this. I have read the reviews on here and they seem to come from folks expecting this place to be something imagined in their minds, and a lot of that comes from priviledge. What people have to look at is how much Sayre is providing for the communinty. The staff are human, and have to stand outside braving the weather to let folks walk up and drive up to get tested, all for free. All of the staff members are doing the best that they can given the resources available to them and I am forever grateful for that

If you are told you can receive the COVID vaccine at Sayre, don't believe it. After registering in person I was told they would call about scheduling an appointment. They didn't. When someone finally picked up on the phone I went through my info for the second time and they said I could receive the vaccine the next day. I was given a ticket number and everything -- I felt confident it was real. I showed up after driving an hour from my office and was turned away before reaching the door, told I did not qualify. I walked back to the Sayre center and asked how I could be screened and told I qualified

This staff is atrocious. Over the last week I have been trying to fill critical medication and spend 6+ hours on hold every day. Sometimes someone picks up, and puts me back on hold. 100% of my phone calls end in being hung up on by them, 3/4 of the time it's before I've ever spoken to a human. Today I've spent 3hours on hold. I frankly don't know how they get away with treating patients so crappy. The doctors are great - but if you need your health taken seriously, don't go here. The front desk was terrible even before Covid, so this is nothing new.

I’m leaving a four star review because the doctors and nurses were so wonderful and helpful, but the employees at the front tent checking people in deserve negative stars. One man was not wearing a mask, the woman’s nose was not covered by hers, and we found out why the line was over 1.5 hours long when they chatted and ignored us when we got to the front. There would be a nonexistent line if the check in employees could get their act together.

I really think the type of service that Sayre is providing right now to the community (and anyone else really bc of boundary less testing)during this pandemic is something extraordinary. All staff members I interacted with were really kind and beyond personable and made me feel at ease before and during testing.
