I went in to get fitted & sized for a wedding tuxedo. Upon entering, I was greeted and once I shared my reason for visiting, they all immediately took action. Their precision and communication during it all resonated well.
Fast forward to the wedding and my tuxedo fit better than any other I have ever been fitted for. Outstanding service and they're professionalism is unmatched. Could not recommend enough!

Went to stitch it and Co to have a custom suit made for my engagement party and to say they went above and beyond is an understatement… They nailed the exact vision I had in mind and it is my favorite suit I’ve owned to date.. Their custom shirts are also fitted like a perfect glove.. Use them. You will not be disappointed!

These guys do phenomenal work and seem to have consistently quick turnaround. Even though it can appear to be a tad pricey at first, it's totally worth it and that's what comes with the territory for such professional work & experience with bespoke suiting. Corey is a super personable, awesome gentleman to work with as well... only place I'll work with for tailoring

I have been going to Stitch It for over 20 years now. I have collected pieces from all over and I never worry about the fit, because I immediately take it to Stitch It and they tailor it to my size perfectly. They also make stunning suits and have recently started making custom pieces. They are friendly and helpful, and their work is exquisite. I highly recommend them.

Excellent tailor! I had to get a tuxedo coat and pants re-fit. They returned my it in 24 hours and I could not believe how well it fit. Not a loose thread and it didn't need any more alterations. Their fitting spaces are commodious and their staff is incredibly knowledgeable. I wasn't sure what fit to get on my tuxedo pants and the person doing my measurements was able to help me visualize the different cuts and get the perfect look for me. I look forward to returning.

This place is excellent. The short version is I had two Armani suits I needed tailored and they did a phenomenal job. For one of them, the store in Italy somehow accidentally gave me the wrong size pants during checkout (too small, and European suits are often very tight to begin with). I really loved the suit, but because of the pants - which I could barely squeeze into and left nothing to the imagination from top to bottom - it pretty much came down to selling it, throwing it away, or somehow getting the pants tailored quite a bit larger (a job I'd already been told was a long shot).

Best custom clothing in Nashville hands down. I have tried so many custom suits and clothes and none have matched the standards of stich-it. Additionally, their prices are fair and are very quick and you do not have to wait long for your clothes to come in. Staff very professional and friendly, especially Woulter.

Quality is a word that shouldn't be abused as to reinforce better from best. The guys and gals of Stitch-It are far and away the best in the area of Nashville at what they do. From the moment you walk in, you know that your every need will be met and exceeded. I've been taking all of my items there for many years now. My frame makes buying clothes a cumbersome chore with wanting a tailored look with an athletic build. Stitch-It was excellent! Their employees know modern and classic style and are amazing at giving fashion advice and assessing what is best for you. I took in several pairs of pants that, of course, fit me like giant bags. We discussed the look of the taper and break and Casey did an excellent job accommodating what I wanted. It took a little while and was a little expensive but I 100% got what I paid for and the wait was worth it! My pants are all perfectly done and I can't believe that pants can actually look this good on me. Casey was a professional, through and through. We had a fun time both

These guys did a fantastic job at altering my suit - both the jacket and pants. Cut exactly how I asked and fits great. A little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for -- and it's well worth what you pay. I'm very happy with the customer service I received too. My suit was finished two days sooner than anticipated and they even pressed my pants for me. Friendly guys who know what they're doing. Highly recommended.

I've been coming to them for years - they are the best. My most recent job involved a rush job on alterations to two pairs of suit pants. I needed them for an awards show and a wedding. They were able to turn them in two days with a very small rush fee. The alterations were perfect - you couldn't tell the pants had been altered. They even texted me on s Sunday to let me know they were done. And they also take all credit and debit cards now as well. This is the only place I will go to get my suits done.

Popped in today to get a quick fix done because my normal place doesn't work on pleather material. They were lovely! The shop interior looks beautiful and the service was excellent. The lady took my shorts to the back for a price quote and the tailor fixed it on the spot for free. I actually look forward to returning to this place. Thank you Stitch It!

I took a dress here that required hemming and closing in of part of the side hem. When I went to pick up the dress, I was shocked that charge totaled $98. They had not given me a quote and I had no idea it would be this costly. I could have bought a brand new dress for $98. I expressed my concern to the guy there and he said "we should have given you a quote if it is this expensive." I will not go back here.

Jeff (the store owner) altered my wedding suit for my back in July...and it was incredible. It was a complete and total dream. We had an awesome conversation about the wedding plans, and I didn't feel rushed at all as he fitted me and we conversed. The alteration was done in just a few days, and it is the best fitting suit I have ever worn. I now just need to take all my clothes there for him to make better. They are the freaking best.

I would highly recommend, especially for trickier alterations. I had two skirts that needed to be taken out because they were too small. I first tried a more barebones alterations shop, who claimed there was no possible way to do this because there was not enough extra fabric. Luckily I then took them to Stitch-It where they assured me it was possible, identified a solution, & now having picked up the altered versions, the results look & fit great and you can't tell they were altered unless you knew to look for it. Turnaround was quick as well. Not super cheap, but worth it for the

I've been searching for a new tailor for close to a year now and THESE GUYS ARE IT.
I walked in with an armful of clothes (literally. 7 dresses, 3 skirts and a few tops). Ryan, Jenny and Jeffrey (the owner) all greeted me with smiles and I waltzed straight to a dressing room. Let the fun begin!
Jenny patiently spent the next 2.5 hours with me tucking, pinning, retucking and pinning to perfection. Jeffrey would check in and offer his encouragement (lovely dress! That will look great. Pull it in this way) and Jenny was super pleasant.

I get it. They are more expensive than the dry cleaner down the street that sews hems. They also only take checks. Their hours are not the greatest.....
But just like the love of your life, nobody is perfect.
So Rahel, you ask, why the 5 stars?
Because they have altered EVERY item of clothing I have brought to them to perfection. Formal wear, jeans, jackets, name it. A good tailor should be reliable, professional and can change your clothing as if it were made just for you. Stitch It delivers all of this and I look better for it!

They are only open on weekdays during business hours, which isn't always the most convenient, but their location in Green Hills, where I run many errands, is usually easy enough to swing by. Their work is impeccable, whether they're repairing a garment or hemming and fitting a bridesmaid's dress. I always know my wardrobe is in good hands. Occasionally I'm disappointed in the prices, but they're still the most reliable in town.

Stitch-It is the kind of alterations place you can take any article of clothing to, to have any kind of alteration done. If you want to piece together a few different articles of clothing to make a brand new article of clothing, I'm sure you could take it to Stitch-It and they would do a great job. They'll do original hems on jeans and pants. My jeans came out very well as did my shorts, which I had the waist taken in on.
The only draw back, and honestly it's a big one for me, is - it will cost a million dollars. Now, if you're having a wedding dress altered you would expect

I hate guys who can't even sew buttons back on their shirts. I've heard of people who donate the shirts to Goodwill rather than try to mend them. I'm not that kind of guy, but when it comes to hemming some pants or some other tricky things, I'm happy to let a professional do it. I searched and searched for an alteration place, tried out a few, and I think Stitch-It is great.
The staff is very friendly and professional. They measure you and make sure they know what needs to be done. I think it was a pretty fast turn around time from what I remember. I may have thought it was

You are going to thank me! I have found the perfect alterations place. Stitch-It is located in convenient Green Hills. Anything I have taken there has turned out perfect. The alterations ladies in there know what they are doing. I have never heard anything other than glowing reports on this place.
