Waiting line was about 40 min even though with a reservation. But the experienced was turned around by our waitress who was very helpful explaining the menu. Great food selections and drinks!

Our first time at 6Smith was a truely wonderful experience. From where we were seated by the bar to our server, Jen, everything was perfect. We started with the Bread is Life appetizer, which is to die for. Of course we each had to try a drink from the lunch menu, so we tried the Brooklyn Bonfire and the Blueberry Yum Yum. So good!
Then we each ordered an entree. The Steak and Frites and the Chicken Sandwich. Everything we ate was elevated and delicious. While we enjoyed our entree, we learned that there is a pastry chef and tried the spectacular Flan to finish the experience! At every step, we

I use to go for summer brunch all the time precovid. Recently went back and disappointed not by the food but by the service. I understand everywhere is short staffed and things take a while which wasn't even a problem. It was one of the blonde waitress who just look like she hated every second of being there. And even annoyed that we asked for boxes.

I liked a lot of the creativity on their menu. Especially lunch specials which are often ignored or boring. I though the quality didn't necessarily live up to the price point, but they had a good range of staples and more adventurous fare. Great beer list.

Upscale steakhouse/bar. Atmosphere, service, and food were on point. Pricey, but worth it. Fair warning, the bar area does get a little loud on a Friday night, as one would expect.
We started with a plethora of small plates.
The 'bread is life' was the star of meal, in my opinion. The bread itself is tasty, but add on 3 different delectable spreads the table thoroughly enjoyed.
The wings were a little overcooked as the bones were brittle and the meat a tad dry, but they were still crispy and super flavorful.
The shrimp chimichurri was tasty, but for the price, I'd skip this one in future.

You can't go wrong!!!!

Restaurant- I've been here for lunch and dinner and it is always consistent and always good. I don't drink as much alcohol as I used to and I'm always excited because they have a great mocktail menu. My fave is Violet! You're turning violet! It's their blueberry basil lemonade.

On my most recent lunch visit, I wasn't sure whether to order ribs or the snapper sandwich. I was hungry and my cravings were all over the place. The server suggested the red snapper sandwich. It was the PERFECT

Let me first say, the ambiance here is perfect. It's boujee, it's clean, it's inviting but exclusive feeling. We went for brunch and the restaurant was already decorated for Christmas. There were giant wreaths and greenery decorating the restaurant and it was beautiful. The vibe here is 10/10.

I had only been here once before back in 2019 when they still offered a buffet brunch. However, they're no longer doing this so we ordered off the menu. My boyfriend ordered the wings and the venison juicy lucy. Both of his meals were delicious. The burger was bursting with flavor and

You can't expect anything worse than this restaurant! I called for a reservation. and when we arrived the front desk said the restaurant is full! I told them my name and my reservation, and the answer was "Sorry! I see your name in the system, but we received some large parties since you called, and your table won't be available until half an hour!"

My main mistake was to agree to wait!!! Eventually we got a table after 40 minutes, and the drama just started! Late and rude waitresses, cold meal, wrong order, and finally low quality food. I wish I can give them less than one

Our party of three decided to have one last lunch on the patio before the weather turned and it was a beautiful day.

They were out of Violet! You're Turning Violet! One of the best N/A drinks and several others. That was our only disappointment.

Aerianna provided great service but they were very busy and it moved a little slow.

Tuna Poke | Ahi tuna, sesame & soy, seaweed, avocado, fresno, wonton crisps - excellent

Bread Is Life | French baguette, honey ricotta, soft butter, green chimichurri - a favourite

Lobster Gnocchi | hand made potato gnocchi, lobster, beurre monte, wilted spinach

Nice restaurant...it is a little bit of a drive from where we live but boy was it worth it. They have a Sunday brunch but it is not like a buffett style. We got soooo much food. We got the steak and eggs...the venison and kobe juicy Lucy. We also got the 5 spice French toast and monkey bread. All the choices were excellent...and the service was great too. Our server was laura she was awesome.the one thing that was weird was was the bathrooms ..there were very small for the size of the restaurant. Other than that go check it out you will love it.

We had dinner at 6Smith for Restaurant Week and had an amazing experience! For appetizers, we ordered the shrimp chimichurri, Ahi tuna bites, and steak tartare. We loved all the appetizers we ordered but probably wouldn't order the steak tartare again because it wasn't super flavorful. For entrees, we ordered the filet mignon, sea bass, and short rib. They were all spectacular! For dessert, we ordered the mini mocha mud pie and were pleasantly surprised to find out that it was similar to ice cream cake! Our super picky son had the steak tenderloin kids meal with a side of fries and he loved it

I came here with my friends for brunch not expecting much food-wise. I was pleasantly surprised with my bibimbap bowl, salmon as protein. It was so good that I would either re-create at home or just come back!

I am a new mom again and it seems hard to find the time to eat nourishing meals. I feel so taken care of after this meal :) beautiful restaurant and great food! I didn't try my friends dishes but they looked so good too!

In the morning there were many families with little kids, and later on the adult crowd joined in, maybe church crowd.

Still love the place, location, view, etc. But wish they would change the menu up. Getting stagnant. And, when they have "specials" more often than not, it is the butter steak. Let's get creative!
Went there again tonight and what is their dinner special? Butter steak. When are we going to get a real special?
9/20/21 Took friends there a few weeks ago and loved sitting outside. The patio is the greatest. We enjoyed our night. And, the food was fantastic. However, still stick with earlier comments that they need a menu change up and some real specials. It was butter steak again.

Great outdoor atmosphere by the lakeside. Attentive and warm/welcome service. Airy crisp Calamari with very light pickle carrot/peppers. French fries are crispy outside, soft inside with 3 dipping sauce. Salmon was Juicy. Tender, sweet, juicy perfectly cooked aged prime rib. Great seasoning Short rib w/Pickle mango salad &The sourness goes well w/the short rib . Toasted baguette was okay , but flavorful ,soaked all the juice and the hanger steak was good. Great drinks Huge portion of 50 shades of chocolate was moist with balance sweetness. Eggy, light Flan w/ silky smooth texture ends the night

Loved the food! We got the bread is life for an app...highly recommend! For our entrees we had the sea bass, salmon and the scallops. For sides we had Cesar salad and mashed potatoes. Everything was so delicious! We finished the night with the birthday dessert which was also great. My only complaint were the flies outside. There seemed to be so many but that's also what you get for eating outside.

6Smith is one of wayzatas best hot spots. This place has it all figured out, and people know it. Try to make a reservation if you can snag one but if you're walking in and get waitlisted, cozy up to the bar for a glass of sparkling rosé and enjoy the lake views.

Here's the skinny on the menu - do not sleep on the salads. I've now had the seasonal vegetable salad (watermelon beet combo) and la flaquita many many times. The beet watermelon salad is a lite option but is so delicious. La flaquita can easily be shared between two people but have fun fighting over the smoked chipotle

I came here at the recommendation of friends and based on the Yelp reviews, I was expecting this place to wow me. But alas, it left me wanting for a lot more. The restaurant does not live up to the all of the hype, AT ALL.
I met 3 friends at 6Smith for my pre-birthday celebration on a Monday night after making reservations. The place was completely packed so you definitely have to make reservations online before coming in. We started with a bunch of drinks and a handful of appetizers. We got the 6Smith Chicken Wings (which had a house blend dry rub), the Char Grilled Fresh Sweet Corn (elote style

This restaurant is mediocre and overpriced. The music is very loud on the patio. We were seated and then waited for 15 minutes before anyone gave us water, and then it was another half an hour before we were served our drinks. It's also really buggy on the patio (lots of flies and mosquitoes). Our bill was over $200 for 2 entrees, 2 drinks, and 1 appetizer. The food was fine but nothing special. We drove 45 minutes to come here for a special occasion because we were excited to sit on the rooftop (which was closed--no one told us, we'd booked a table on the rooftop). We were looking forward

This is my favorite place to eat by the lake in the summer in Wayzata. They have great seafood dishes and a variety to choose from. Our favorites last night were the calamari appetizer, salmon and beet salad, shrimp curry entree and crab/lobster cake special.

We also got a tasty complimentary chocolate cake and caramel dessert since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary.

Make your reservations far in advance if you want outdoor seating. The views of Lake Minnetonka are nice and you can take a stroll in the area after dinner.

First time and I wasn’t disappointed. Visited for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The Poms Away was fun and refreshing. The 3 varieties of east coast oysters were delicious. I also tried the Shrimp Chimichurri and Seasonal Vegetable salad. All were perfect for a hot summer day. I would get them all again.

I went here for my twenty-first birthday. It was such a great experience, from the food to the service. It seemed pretty busy, but our waitress still made it a mission to come and check on us quite frequently. She basically described the whole menu to us in detail and seemed genuinely interested in what we had to say and the questions we asked. The food was absolutely phenomenal and definitely worth the money you spend. The atmosphere was great, and everyone who worked there was so friendly. At the end, our waitress brought me a free piece of cake and even went to far to give me a $15 gift card

Saw the Friday Fat Pants Special for $12 and could not resist! Front of house was not very engaging and seemed preoccupied in every interaction we had. Waitress was very nice and did a great job making me feel welcome.

The Fat Pants Special is a LOT of food- which is one of the main reasons I came, but it lacked a LOT of flavor. Largely falling back on the premise that more is better, I was excited about the burger, but the burger missed the mark.

6Smith is located at a beautiful location and the inside was very clean. Hope to come back again and give them another chance.

We had a girls night in Wayzata and opted for dinner on the patio at 6Smith. With a view of Wayzata Bay, we had a delicious dinner and experience!

6Smith and Baldamar have the same owners, which explains their similar menu and equally similar stellar quality and experience.

We started with Bread is Life, where a perfectly toasted loaf of bread comes with three dips: whipped butter, chimichurri and ricotta + honey. All three were incredible, and our server recommended combining the butter with chimichurri. No regrets! We also had the tuna poké, so fresh and flavorful with the lightest wonton

Attended a surprised 40th BD party at their private room which was beautifully decorated. They had an array of really delicious seafood ready for us and later brought Brussels Sprouts, Cauliflower, and Meatballs. I enjoyed all of the appetizers but would say the meatballs and Brussels Sprouts were a hit with everyone.
For dinner I had the scallops which were good but super rich! My friend had the Miso Marinated Seabass and I wish I had ordered that instead. Absolutely delicious, full of flavor and simply perfection.
From their cocktails, I would recommend the Water Lily, and the Lemon Drop

Always a great experience here. Top flight ingredients make for a top flight meal. For example, Buffalo Trace is the cheapest Kentucky Bourbon they have if you don't count Beam. Real hand cut fries (state fair fries have nothin on them). Chunks of lobster the size of large gum drops.

Service is very attentive from the server and a roving captain. All servers are in a neat black and white attire. I've seen them do white jeans even in the summer, so 80s but I love it.

My in-laws only gripe is that the noise level is always high. High ceilings and concrete floors make for a high volume

We took advantage of restaurant week and booked a table for two on a Wednesday evening. We were first timers here but heard good things. It's an upscale bar feel with a gorgeous view of the lake. The patio would be beautiful during the warm season! They had some decorative, but weird pictures of people on the walls with cheesy sayings. I felt that they belonged in a mall then a restaurant. It threw me off a little.

They have a great menu, food and drinks both. For restaurant week, they had some really great deals. If you don't know what restaurant week is, Google it! For $35 you get

I've been here a handful of times for dinner in the dining room. This past weekend was my first experience on the patio for brunch. I've had lovely service each time. The staff has always been friendly even during Restaurant Week when I'm sure they are stressed and maybe not always tipped as well.

The only downside of brunch v dinner was that parking during a lovely sunny day was much harder. I waited for over 10 minutes for a spot and the friends I met there had to park in the street and walk over.

The patio was lovely with lots of beautiful tropical plants and huge umbrellas
