Boger's Shoes

The service was A1! Was in and out with a pair of walking shoes for my 8 month old in 15 minutes! My family has been using Bogers my entire life and I’m happy to use them now for my “own” family! Would recommend 110%

Selection is very sparse but all shoes are top quality. Good fittings. This store caters to some insured trade and is not nearly as attractive as a retail shoe outlet as it used to be. It needs much more inventory. The staff blamed COVID for lack of supply. Way too many shoes for infants and young kids. Still will return.

This is the ONLY place to buy your shoes in Jacksonville Florida. Yes, they are pricey, but you get what you pay for here. The only shoes I will wear. The shoes will last forever and are high quality. You can… make an appointment or do a walk in. The only minus is they have opted to move the “sale” shoes to the back or upstairs. The only shoes I am able to afford is the sale shoes. I am not freely able to shop for the sale shoes I might like or need. I come here once or twice per year and buy multiple shoes at one time. The Shoe Salesmen here are always warm, nice and very helpful

*3 years ago the VA made arrangements for me to be fitted for inserts (to correct some issues) and to receive shoes from this fine company. I have been treated very well by the staff and have had only 1 minor issue which was immediately put into line to be rectified (once I spoke out about it), and was asked to please make them aware of any future issues sooner rather than later. Kendrick has been my point of contact for the majority of the interactions and he has been phenomenal. If Kendrick is a typical example of the employees knowledge, drive and dedication to their craft, then I believe Bogers

I called this morning and spoke to Steve or Steven (sorry, I can’t remember which it was)to see if they had a certain pair of NewBalance shoes that my Podiatrist recommended. They had them at the store and when I went in 10 minutes later, he had them up front and ready for me to try on. He explained to me why my Podiatrist recommended that style and what the advantages were. He checked the fitting and had me walk around to make sure I was comfortable in the shoe. He showed me a different way to tie the shoes and I immediately could feel the difference. I am a fan of his service and felt very

I was sent here by the VA, I am telling you, everyone in Boger Shoes was very polite, very helpful and very knowledgeable. Nothing but the most excellent reviews. I was even offered a bottle of water while I was waiting. I never expect service like I had received here but it sure did feel good.

This was my first time getting medical shoes and the staff was amazing. From my first visit to the last I felt like I was part of their family. Brett took his time with me when the first shoes that were sent for me did not fit properly, he pulled out many different styles to help find the right ones. When we found out the wrong insert had been sent he made sure he personally called the third party to get the proper insole. Even if you do not need medical shoes I would highly recommend this well established shoe store for any of your needs.

My feet needed more support than a regular shoe so my orthopedic doctor wrote a prescription for custom made orthotics that would be put in my shoes so I can walk properly. This is the only company where these inserts are soft & conforming to my feet. Other companies make them hard as a "rock" & it's hard to walk in them all day. Since I have worn these orthopedics (7 yrs) it has helped the pain in my hip due to walking correctly.
Boger's also has great customer service. They are very patient & take the time needed to ask your questions.

I am so over the moon with my birthday shoes and y’all’s customer service! I called in from Texas for some discontinued New Balance shoes and didn’t have a lot of hope left after looking literally everywhere for a certain color in my size. Even though I could hear how swamped they were in the background, after checking the inventory—taking care of other clients—and looking in the back Kendrick found them for me and was happy to ship them out, plus they were $20 cheaper than my running store here! They came in four days early, packaged perfectly, with receipts and a business card neatly

Boger’s Shoes has the best, most comfortable, and stylish shoes. If you need any corrections due to leg length issues, this is the place! Tennis shoes, sandals, and even My Ballroom dancing shoes were adjusted ... Couldn’t have danced without them! Many thanks!💃

This is the best shoe store I have ever visited. My wife, with an ulcer on her right foot, could hardly walk from our car to the store, and now she can walk comfortably, if slowly. I have the most comfortable sneakers I've had in years. The service was personal and professional. I have no complaints whatever, except that the store was hard to find, since I am not familiar with Five Points in Jax. I contacted them by phone, and the clerk talked to me and helped me find it. I couldn't hope for more.

Very professional... Excellent service ... Most items are done by appointment, from the time you are first contacted to the time for the finial fitting and pickup. If you are under a care of a doctor. Additionally, they have walk in service although the shoes out on the show room floor is a small selection. But if you are there for a medical reason they are top notch and they work with your medical insurance as well.

So often people will thank us, Veteran's for our service. Far and few in between are opportunities to put that sentiment in action. The staff at Boger's Shoes have made me feel their appreciation every time. None as direct and to the point as when Kendrick made special provision to enable me to pick up my much needed shoes before I went out of town. I am glad I decided to say something about my predicament, they were more than willing to come up with a solution. They have the best shoes in Jacksonville-Five Points. You can come in a shop, but they take the people who have appointments first. I did not know they did that. Maybe it's new or they could of been doing this all along. I only come in once or twice per year. It's so much better to spend a little more money for a "good shoe" that will look good and last for a long time. I came in looking for a pair or two for spring and summer. Welllllll.......I know it's me....but I never knew there were shoe stores quite like this! Very personalized service, you sign in and wait in very comfortable chairs before they can help you. We were there because I saw a remodeling sale on upper end shoes for just $60 so since I need a pair of upper end walking sandals-we went! They had many brands I never heard and prices were$100-185! OMG , who knew Israel made shoes but most were made in China! Regrettable any sandals I may have liked (on sale $60 ones) they did not have my size. The salesman was very nice, not snooty that I was surprised

The only reason I give them 2 stars is because the gentleman that fitted my mother for her diabetic shoes was very nice. However, we were there in April and still have not gotten any feedback about the shoes. I have called 4 times and have yet to receive a call back. Meanwhile, my 88 year old mother is walking around with ill fitted shoes because I can not get the courtesy of a phone call. I hate to write a negative review about a local business but this is just ridiculous!

I've been a loyal customer at Bogers for at least five years. I can't say I've ever been treated well there. I go for the selection & location. I typically leave about $200 lighter in the wallet. I don't rely on Medicare or insurance for my purchases. My last visit (yesterday) was my last visit period. Mr. Boger is a nice man with a good business. However, his staff members are angry old white men that are rude, condescending, & downright nasty. I guess since I'm not over 60 with government benefits, they think it's OK to act abusive. Never again!

Boger's offers specialty shoes and amazing customer service. My mother has a stroke over 10years ago and has purchased shoes from Boger's that are sturdy enough to support her AFO. When a returning customer comes in, they pull out a notecard that has a record of all of your previous purchases to guide you on what items fit your needs. They also send reminder notes/calls when it's time to get a new pair. We will continue to shop here for her shoe needs.
