He was an apprentice at Ink Assassins and worked there until 2009. He was born and raised in Minnesota but has lived in other cities, like, Louisville and Erie. He doesn't travel as much but once in a while still gets out there on the open road. He likes to focus on being diverse instead of sticking to one style of tattooing, even though his favorite thing to tattoo is lettering.

Services
Nokomis Tattoo believes in being a full part of the community and giving back. We host blood drives, pet rescue events and support other community events. We not only try to give back to the area by being involved in community based projects, but we have committed to donate 5% of our profits to charity as well.
Although we would be happy to start talking about your tattoo over email, we don't give quotes over email because there is a chance for miscommunication. The best thing to do is come in and talk to us in person so we can really understand what you would like to get. Let the artist know if you're trying to stay in a certain price range, and we'll do our best to work with your budget.
To start, Mike moved from Louisville, KY to Erie, PA to further his tattoo career and has lived in various places throughout the US. He always seems to return home to Minnesota where he was born and raised. Mike focuses on diversity instead of one style of tattooing, even though his favorite thing to tattoo is, you guessed it, lettering.

Hands down the best tattoo session I’ve had with any artist. Mike is down to earth, talented at what he does and just a cool dude to talk to. Jasmine is awesome as well. She made sure everything was taken care of in a timely fashion, got my next appointment booked and even gave my Son a shirt just for hanging out.

My best friend and I both got similar tattoos from Mike this evening and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The shop was clean and very inviting. Not only was the space nice, but Mike was an absolute delight to chat with. He was super fun and got the nail on the head with what I was looking for in my tattoo. The shop has amazing character and Mike and his team truly seem to love helping and serving the community! I will 100% recommend Nokomis Tattoo to all my friends!

We were visiting my sister-in-law, and my husband wanted to get his first tattoo. They were hosting a pit bull adsorption, so puppies was a bonus!
This was a great place to pick as a first experience. The owners are so cool, nice, and down to earth. It's super clean and nicely decorated. They host community events throughout the year, so it was awesome seeing the local impact and how they give back.
