The implant itself is a small titanium fixture with tiny threads that your surgeon places, or "implants, " into the jawbone as an anchor. Simply put, dental implants are root replacements. The jawbone attaches to the implant through a process called osseointegration, forming a secure connection between the jaw and the new root.
Endodontics is the realm of dentistry that deals with the inside of a tooth. Teeth are hollow, and the hollow space within each tooth contains nerves and blood vessels. Each root of each tooth has a tiny opening at the tip of the root where these nerves and blood vessels enter the tooth. This soft tissue is called the pulp, and the hollow space is the pulp chamber.

Dr Cohen was great, she made sure I was comfortable all throughout. She was very meticulous and I was surprised by how pain free I felt afterwards. The dental hygienist assisting her was great all throughout, she made sure I was comfortable and aswered any questions I had. This was the first experience I had where I could watch netflix while having dental work done (I chose Nailed It).
It was a seamless experience from the beginning. The front desk went above and beyond with helping me as a new patient, and they were always courteous and kind.

As a doctor myself I found Dr Cohen and Dr Mintz as well as their entire staff to be fantastic. They are caring and considerate and go the extra mile to do what is in the patient’s best interest. I recommend them highly. In addition to their compassion I was impressed by their state of the art equipment and the cleanliness of the office.

I had the most amazing experience getting a root canal ( if that’s even possible to say in one sentence) at Rockland Dental Specialists. I was in pain over the weekend, when I originally called for an appointment on Monday they said it would be a few weeks because they were booked solid. Then they started to go out of their way to satisfy a customer. First it was next Monday. Then it became this Friday and finally wound up being on Wednesday. This is a office that cares.
The procedure itself was completely painless and I had the kindest and sweetest doctor. Dr Snyder was professional and friendly

The staff is the friendliest ever, I felt at ease with the staff, and very thorough explanation of every procedure. That was only the staff, and the doctor came in, and I realized why the whole place is so friendly. The staff followed their leader well. I will try to book my family to visit Rockland Dental Specialist.
