Delicious Nepali food with great service and generous portions! Two friends and I ordered takeout for dinner (two entrees and an appetizer between the three of us) and we all loved it. The portion sizes were very solid -- we had plenty of leftovers. My favorite dish by far was the Saag Paneer. Saag Paneer has long been one of my top South Asian dishes, and for the past couple years, Nepal House has held the crown. It was so luscious and creamy. I'm craving some right now as I write about it!

I would confidently recommend Nepal House to anyone who craves a delicious, hearty meal. Nepal House

Really good fresh food! I've never had paneer pakora (fried cheese) and now it's my new favorite appetizer. The vegetable samosas are huge and loaded with potato. The chicken biryani has a decent amount of chicken and the pieces are large, the rice was delicious. Really liked the raita that came with it, but I thought the green chutney and the tamarind chutney dipping sauces for the samosas could have used more flavor. Will definitely be back to try other dishes!

Every aspect of this restaurant is what makes it horrible. Starting off with the ambience, there is way too much decorations and that makes the place dirty. The bowls that they gave for the momos were plastic and had curry stains on them. Next off, the customer service was really weird and off. From far away they pushed this cart that was so loud and announced that our food was here. When we didn’t finish our food because of the horrible taste, they told us to finish off what we have left. Then, the food was so gross. We ordered veg momos and there was no ginger or garlic. THEY PUT PACKET VEGETABLES

My family had dinner at Nepal House on Friday and the food was AMAZING! We all loved it! It was our first time there and will definitely return. That's THE best food I have eaten in quite some time. They deserve 7 stars! After the dinner the owner graciously offered ice cream to my children as a treat.

After I took a look at Nepal house website, I just notice that they just re-open their lunch buffet again! I really miss their buffet so much! So I went to their restaurant and have a warm welcoming from the owner and staffs.

For the food, I would say the quality of food never change at all.

Thanks for making this buffet happens again!

We stop at this resturant when we are around Baltimore or passing by. This place is clean with Nepali vibes. The owner and staffs are fabulous. Their food is awesome too. I love their buffet but due to covid they are not doing it right now which is sad. I don't have any complaints so far but just a suggestion - "Thakali thali" nowhere feels like Nepali food. Only "greens" was good in the entire plate. Veg Curry and chicken curry we got were with Indian masala and flavor. Was disappointed because the veg curry was made out of frozen mix vegetables with carrots and corns

Great service and lovely atmosphere but sadly the food wasn't anything special-
Momo's tasted like dumplings covered in ketchup and the chicken tikka was especially dry.

Nice atmosphere and the service was good. However, I thought the entrees could have been better. I’ve had the same dishes elsewhere and was blown away, however it’s not bad, but nothing was spectacular.

I had Nepal House bookmarked for a long time and was excited when I saw it was close to Penn Station. I visited for a late lunch after getting off the train. Nepal House is on a cute block of N. Charles with a quaint patio.

I ordered the chicken momos, lamb bhuna, and paratha. I was automatically provided papadum with three different sauces. The papadum were crispy and spicy and the tamarind sauce is always my favorite. The momos took about 20 minutes to come out, and the rest of my food took another 15 or so, so don't come if you are hungry. Momos were delicious and I loved the sauce

All around delicious! We got the lamb biryani, shrimp tandoori, saag paneer, garlic naan, and kashmiri naan. Spice level of the lamb biryani was accurate to its description (spicy). The saag paneer also had a spice level of "spicy." I couldn't taste the spice in the saag paneer but my friend said he could. Shrimp tandoori was sizzling when it came out and looked so good. Naan is fresh, buttery, and full of flavor- the best naan I've ever had. I also got a tasty mango lassi. Wait time was ~20 minutes. There is a dine-in option as well as limited outdoor seating. Service was extremely attentive and

We visited Nepal House for dinner this past weekend when we were staying at a nearby hotel in Mount Vernon. We ordered ahead on their website and took our food as takeout. Our food wasn't quite ready on time, but we were later told that they had just run out of a sauce necessary for our dishes and had to make that (totally understandable, but I wish there was a way to update the the pickup time since we ended up waiting for about 20 minutes outside). We decided to try all the momo for our dinner: chicken Nepali momo, Veg Jhol Nepali momo, and lamb Kothey Nepali momo. They were delicious. I

Great food and really fast service if you go there and pick it up yourself! The guy working was super nice when we picked up the first time and it only took 15 mins on a weekend. The flavors of the dishes are always great and the rice is even nicely seasoned with cardamom pods.

Food was super good. Make sure to call ahead and order to save time. They're currently not allowing dine in. We ordered the Nepal House Feast which came with several different choices. My favorites were the chicken tikka and the curry lamb! Highly recommend the feast if you're with a friend or two.

Have been to Nepal House several times for the lunch buffet and am never disappointed. They have an huge selection of Indian and Nepalese foods that varies depending on the day so you can go 5 times and eat probably 20 different dishes. One of my favorites is the carrot pudding, they don't always have it but it's a must-try when they do. Highly recommend overall!

I'll start by saying the food I've had here is absolutely excellent. 5 times I have ordered lamb momos, these amazing dumplings, and lentil soup. I've eaten every last dumpling, every last lentil, and every drip of sauce that comes with my order.

That said, 3 out of 5 times my food delivery has been late, my last order on Saturday, 7/11, was 25 MINUTES LATE. I heard nothing from the restaurant, nor the driver during this time. I actually called the restaurant 2x and received very uninterested customer service. "Oh, he's on his way" after 10 minutes. "Oh, we&apos

Nepal House is amazing! It’s certainly a great place to enjoy authentic Nepali, Indian and Himalayan cuisine. I can’t say enough about this restaurant. When dining, I always look for many things, with the following being the top three; Friendly and knowledgeable staff, delicious food, and creative or authentic selections. The owners (Prem and wife) and staff work hard to offer the best food in a very welcoming and cheerful environment. Owners and staff are very friendly and always walk around to engage customers in a quick conversation. They even go to the extent of knowing some of their customers
