My son, his wife and I went to Broward Burial and Cremation on Oakland Park Blvd.. The Broward Burial on Oakland was recommended by friends and I’m so glad we went there. Kathy Katerman, one of the directors, couldn’t have been more helpful, compassionate and professional. She was so detail oriented and well organized, she answered all of our questions and then some. Kathy followed up with texts to let us know how everything was going. During this difficult time we feel blessed to have had Kathy to help us through it and very relieved we chose Broward Burial and Cremation.

During one of the most difficult times in my life, every person I came in contact with at Broward Burial showed incredible compassion and understanding. My family initially contacted Broward Burial due to the cost of funeral services, fearing lower quality. We couldn’t have been more mistaken. They were extremely kind, patient and understanding. I’m grateful for Paulette, Cathy and both Dan’s for helping me and my family give my father the farewell he deserved.

Tried to have my father's body sent here. Our family had trouble deciding what to do, as far as arrangements. Our plan changed several times because we 3 sisters live all over the county and we had dozens of family members trying to weigh in on our decision. My father never left a will, so some family thought he wanted burial. Others said cremation. We lost my dad very suddenly. Our community is very spiritual and this was very upsetting for many, many people. We have a huge family. But once we had a firm plan, their office never sent us any paperwork, even after we asked several times.

My cousin passed away on 8/15/2021 and we were devastated. Broward Burial and Cremation came highly recommended. My first contact was the warm reception received from Paula at the front desk who was very empathetic and comforted us. Kathy Katerman, one of the directors took over and that she did. She was very professional, knew her work 100% and was very understanding and very patient. Everything went smoothly the day of the Funeral services. When my Dad recently passed away I realized there were no plans in place. This was the first place I called. I spoke to Kathy and she arranged for everything. She was really nice and informative. Then I worked with Daniel the Director who was wonderful as well and patient. Finally Paula kept me updated on everything and followed up with me. It was a great experience all the way around.

I have had the recent experience of having a Memorial Service through Broward Burial and Cremation. Following a relaxed meeting they knew what I needed and sensed what wanted with no pressure. The staff and directors are compassionate and caring. Everything that was promised was delivered with professionalism. I have attended services at my church that were serviced by this funeral home and I can highly recommend them

I have known Daniel Klaver for many years. He has helped with Life Celebration services and final arrangements for both of my in-laws my mother and recently with my wife. He has always been there for me through the tough times. His professionalism and calm manor is reassuring and comforting. During the trauma and grief through the loss of a loved one, a caring, trustworthy, and dependable director to steer the important final details is a priceless gift. Daniel Klaver is compassionate, empathetic, and considerate. He CARES! Daniel goes the extra mile and insures that all aspects are handled professionally and seamlessly. When my mind is not able to process those details, it brings me great peace knowing that Daniel has it all under control.
