Frees Law
Any criminal charge is a serious concern. Your freedom, family relationships, job prospects and reputation may all be on the line if you simply plead guilty or do not get strong representation. Whether you made a mistake or were arrested and charged unjustly, each decision you make going forward will be pivotal.

If you want to be certain that your case is a priority for a lawyer driven to earn the best possible outcome, turn to me, attorney Brian Frees. I am a Navy Chief with wide-ranging life experience and an excellent education in the law. I founded Frees Law, P.L.L.C., with the mission of providing intelligent, assertive protection of my clients' rights and interests across several legal practice areas.
Services
I am attorney Brian Frees, a dedicated professional with an excellent legal background as well as invaluable life experience as a Navy Senior Chief and paramedic. Serving clients throughout Salt Lake County, Utah County, Tooele County, Davis County and elsewhere in Northern Utah, my primary focus is felony and misdemeanor criminal defense.
I, Brian Frees, founded Frees Law, P.L.L.C., with the clear mission of providing responsive, intelligent and rigorous legal representation for each client. If you or a family member is facing a criminal charge in Northern Utah, you can depend on me to make that case a priority and help you make the soundest possible decisions about what to do.
If you have run into trouble with the law in Northern Utah, the stress and dread you feel may be overwhelming. The same is true if you are trying to help your child or another loved one avoid consequences that could be crippling for his or her future. Every decision you make about how to approach this pivotal life situation is critical.
In Utah, a conviction for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI; sometimes called DWI) or any similar offense can negatively impact nearly every aspect of your life. This is especially true if you make the common mistake of facing the charge without counsel from a qualified lawyer. One or two drinks add up to big trouble.
A conviction for assault, battery, any other violent crime or a weapons charge could impact every aspect of your life - from depriving you of basic freedoms to permanently restricting your job and educational prospects. Whether you know you made a mistake or have been falsely accused, any such arrest demands immediate counsel from a dedicated lawyer.

I love this team. I'm a commercial driver & a single parent... so recently when my livelyhood was threatened by a ticket I received I was up a creek with no paddle. Counselor Frees and team were absolutely fabulous. I had a longshot case and not only did they take my case, they won my trial for me too with style and finesse. I am impressed and blessed so I wanted to share my experience. I highly recommend Frees Law to anyone with legal needs. They are affordable and it was money well spent!😎

Brian was a great attorney for my husband. He made a difficult situation a little less stressful. He was willing to accept payments which was very helpful. I would highly recommend him.

Be sure to get everything in writing - how much you're paying, and what for. Get second opinions on information relayed. Don't expect reliability.

Brian is an excellent attorney, very knowledgeable regarding Utah law. Friendly approach with you as a client, but willing to lock down and take a hard stance against the other side. Brian has appeared before nearly all of the judges in Utah's 3rd and 4th District, and is quite experienced with dealing with most prosecutors in these districts as well. Brian is the right man to have in your corner when your back is against the wall!
