PrEP is now available at Optimal Health Medical Center. PrEP is covered by most insurance plans, but if you don't have insurance, we can help you find a medication assistance program that may help pay for PrEP. PrEP stands for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis which is a drug treatment-plan. The PrEP treatment-plan involves a daily pill called Truvada that can protect you against HIV as long as you take it every day.

Finally found a place where we speak the same language and the Doctors can understand us culturally. We're not scared to ask questions and get the local help we need. I felt so good going there because they listened to me and acknowledged my concerns. They have the same family experience and could relate. Definitely going back and this will forever be my doctors.

This was hands down the best medical experience I've ever had. I walked into the office and the lobby is filled with natural light due to the floor to ceiling windows. The lobby is open and the receptionist greeted me with such a welcoming smile I felt like I was coming home! Lol. Since I completed my application when I set my appointment the week before, I was seen by the nurse almost immediately after walking in. The pre-diagnostic was quick and efficient. Since it is a new medical center they have all the latest technology. The nurse or nurse assistant, I don't know her exact certification,

Outstanding physicians. Took me in swiftly! The convenience of having a pharmacy in house was a blessing since I had flu like systems and needed relief. Staff is patient yet professional. I'd recommend this health center to anyone in the South Florida area and definitely consider Optimal Health as my primary care physician center.
