In 1994, hospitals and academic centers were the primary locations for research on new medications. It was during this time that Lynne Merriam had an idea. An idea about a private, family owned business whose only job was to conduct research studies for new medicines. In 1994, after establishing her business model, Merriam and two local physicians formed Gulf Coast Clinical Associates.
Medical Care: All study-related medical care that you receive for your condition will be provided to you at no cost. And, you don't need health insurance to participate in a study!. Cutting-Edge Medicine: You will receive study-related medication(s) that are being studied to see if they provide more effective results than treatments currently available to the general public.
All clinical research sites are provided study-related medications and medical devices for trials. New study-related medications and devices are developed through well-established guidelines and regulations designed by the FDA to ensure their safety and effectiveness by the time they reach the public.
Your information will not be shared or used for any other purpose than previously stated. Our Clearwater and Tampa facilities have over 25 full-time experienced staff members. The staff includes an Executive Team, Medical Directors, Clinical Directors, Senior Management Team, Regulatory and EDC Specialists, Marketing Team, and Financial Team.

I have joined 2 of their studies so far and hope to do more. All of the staff that I have had interacted with have been great. Those I have not been directly involved with have been very pleasant and acknowledged me. Jamie has been the one to 2 my 2 studies and is very personable. I would recommend anybody go here for Clinical trials.

I originally did a pulmonary trial in 2012. Well there for several months during trials. I was treated there with more respect and kindness than from any other medical facility I have ever dealt with in my 75 years. Recently I needed some medical records for other purposes and contacted the clinic to obtain the same. After 9 years they weren't readily available, however the staff bent over backwards to obtain the documentation I needed ,again with the utmost respect and patience that I could ever ask for. Kudos and thanks to them and will highly recommend them to anybody I know.

I started research studies for my ulcerative colitis and i have been working with Brittany and Jamie. They are so overly amazing . Brittany keeps me up to date via emails or phone calls on things that they need or i need and she goes above and beyond. I wish i could give her 100 stars she is so nice and so is Jamie. Im not sure if any one else has the pleasure of working with them but i feel truly blessed to have them helping me. Thank you so much for going above and beyond and making sure Every thing I do and you do is explained properly and in timely manner.
