This is the second time I've taken my clothes to CH Studios and I can't say enough good things. For 2 years I struggled to find a good quality tailor in Denver and now, Im confident to say I've finally found the one! Christine has been in the game for years and knows what she's doing. I cannot say enough about all the great things we experienced using this tailor. This was my first time having anything tailored professionally and Christine helped make sure both my daughter and I were happy. Christine is a miracle worker! I am 20 weeks pregnant and I have a week until my sister’s wedding. She was able to make me fit into a dress that I would otherwise not have been able to. Christine is amazing! She was recommended to me by someone in my apartment building and I knew from my first wedding dress fitting that I was in good hands! She listened to what I wanted, made suggestions and overall made my dress exactly what I wanted it to be! It was several sizes too big and too long and she made it fit like a glove. Her bustle was also awesome and my bridesmaids were able to figure it out easily even though none of them were able to join for an in person demo. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend her.

They butchered 2 new suits about 6 months ago. They look 'frumpy'. Pants were left baggy and one of the suit jackets was tailored tight in the middle and blouses out at the bottom, with an odd roll in the fabric coming from one of the seams. Cost about $250 for both suits to be tailored. I thought I was seeing things when I tried them on at the store, but the poor work was obvious when i got home. The work was so poor I didn't want to take them back to get fixed. I'm not a tailor, but I know what a well tailored pant and suit jacket look like.

This time I brought in a $130 anthropology dress with a snagged hem that they turned into the most perfect wedding dress for me. Earlier this year they repaired two 1950s items for me and my now husband. I brought in a dress that was three sizes two small and he brought in a suit that needed a lot of love. They made every item we have ever brought in look a million times better and all handled gently and with care and done in a reasonable time at a reasonable cost. So glad we found this team for all our vintage and quirky wardrobe demands! Can't recommend highly enough!

I had my wedding dress done here and Christine and her team are fabulous. I was referred to her by a friend and it was such a great decision. I chose a large ball gown style dress that I’m sure even the hem, let alone all of the other alterations were a big challenge! We had multiple fittings and at each fitting she took the time not only to explain what she was doing and how that would alter the dress but also to give me tips on how to walk in the dress, what sort of shoes were best, how to get into the dress without messing up your hair etc. She also created a fantastic bustle that made dancing at the reception so much easier and even walked my bridesmaids through

The best! I had my bridesmaid dress altered here and she did a phenomenal job! The quality of her stitch work is top on the line. It was large and disproportionate before and is now very flattering yet comfortable. She is conscientious of the impact of the textile and wedding industry which is very important to me. Christine is a magician! I contacted Christine via email when I was asked to be a bridesmaid last year and then quickly found out the chosen bridesmaid dress was not sold in my size. As a plus-size girl, dress shopping is rarely fun but it is downright hell when you're told which one you HAVE to get regardless of your body type. 1/18/17 UPDATE AGAIN
1- Christine is correct... the picture is not her work. Mia had to put pins in the compensate for the ripped oirnzipper to get a sense of how much the dress needed to be taken in. Buttons were missing. The straps were missing... that's how the dress was received when we picked it up at the shop the SAME afternoon we requested it be returned. So... Christine fixed it back to perfect t original manufacturer condition only for the shop to rip it back apart? Does anyone find sense in that statement???
2- the shop refused to compensate for any additional cost.

The dress was a long sleeveless formal. It had straps the crossed in the back and the straps were very narrow.
I needed the dress to be tailored on top so that it would not look so baggy.
CH studios enhanced the bust line with inserts, and custom tailored the length.
I really liked the fact that the tailor, Christine,was able to just look at me in the dress and know what to do.
Many of the alteration shops I have been to required me to give them specific directions, even though I myself did not know how to make it fit better

I bought my wedding dress at The Altar and found Christine through these reviews on yelp. I was very nervous initially as our wedding is a non-traditional Vegas ceremony (no bridesmaids and such) and I wouldn't have a maid of honor or anyone with me. The very first time I met with her at her home studio, I was instantly relieved. I appreciated her attention to detail - her suggestion to add the anchors (so the strapless dress wouldn't fall down) was perfect. I recommend CH Studios to anyone needing alterations.

Christine was amazing! I was extremely worried about the fit of my dress. I have a larger chest and was wearing a very heavy dress. She did wonders! She added some inside support for holding the weight. It was perfect and I did not pull that strapless dress up all night! It stayed perfectly! She added cups as well which were great so I didn't have to wear a strapless bra. The alterations were perfect! I had beading on the bodice and it was seamlessly taken in. You would have had no idea an alteration was made. The bustle was beautiful. Loved it! I also had her shorten my rehearsal dinner dress

We had multiple fittings spaced out over a few months. Christine took my dress in and added a bustle. By the time she was done my dress fit perfectly!
She also has a wonderful demeanor and is always pleasant and upbeat to work with. She takes time to explain what she's doing throughout the process and even gives you tips for your wedding day such as how to walk and dance in your dress. She is the best and definitely worth going to!

I met Christine several years ago when she made some interview clothes for my daughter who was applying to medical school. Fast forward. My daughter got married this past summer. She made not only my daughter's wedding dress but the bridesmaids' dresses, as well. She had to develop patterns (design the dresses) based on sketches. The original sketch of the wedding dress was on a napkin. All the dresses were beautiful. There were many fittings, and it was well worth the effort to have the fittings. Every detail was discussed. Christine altered my Anne Barge wedding dress for my June 2012 wedding. My dress was complicated in that the skirt was made up of a number of panels requiring very precise hemming, and creating a bustle was a bit more challenging than it would be with a normal hemline. Christine's attention to detail is remarkable, and she seemed to enjoy the challenge that the bustle presented, coming up with a number of different solutions and experimenting until I found one I liked. I ended up going in for about 5 fittings, but she didn't alter the original price quote, and the price was far less

Christine is GREAT! She is a lot of fun, too. She is not cheap, but I suspect she charges about market rate, maybe slightly more. However, on your wedding day you can pay more! I think the worst thing about wedding dresses is that they rarely fit. Mine fit like a glove. I had to drive all the way from Ft Collins to Denver, but I had learned of Christine through a friend, and I did not want to take any chances. Sure enough, she did an amazing job.

Christine was so great. her house is packed full of dresses (makes me wonder how many people haven't yelped about her cause they have had good experiences) and so it took about 2 months for the three fittings- but i went in with ample time.
she was courteous, funny, personable and good at what she did. she replaced a ribbon that didn't match, made the easiest bustle ever and really worked with me on what i wanted. blue bridal referred me to her and i am so glad that they did.
kudos to a woman who knows what she is doing and has a smile when she does it.
