I have been in a manual wheelchair for 45 years and this is the most efficient, professional and most wonderful customer care servicing company I have ever dealt with. American Medical Equipment have not only expertly repaired my previous wheelchair numerous times but I also recently purchased a new wheelchair from them and they have been outstanding in every way during the entire process. I highly recommend this knowledgeable, honest, and friendly caring company.

Brought my mom in for her diabetic shoes. AME has a private shoe boutique for personal attention and a very large selection of Medicare approved footwear. Sharlene is caring, knowledgeable and provided excellent care for my mom's foot eval and fitting. The staff goes the extra mile to work with your doctor and handles the Medicare billing

Great folks working at American Medical Equipment - Very Compassionate. Just to name a few: General manager - Akim ; Technician and Salesperson - Roman ; Customer Service - Tina. We needed replacement for power wheelchair - Tina arranged for technician - Roman to be of assistance. They offered to bring the equipment next day ; moreover while talking to the manager - Akim - He kindly agreed to bring two power wheelchairs, so my husband who is home bound would be able to make a choice. Roman came next day, made adjustments on the spot and left the chair to try it out during a few days. For reasons

I called around to several shops looking for a chance to sit and try out lift recliners for my parents. This was the only store with multiple display models. They were friendly on the phone and even better in person. I have been pleased with their customer service.

Have purchased several items, large and small, from this business. The largest purchase was an electric wheelchair. They delivered and configured it to fit my Dad and ensured he was "trained" on how to use it before they left. Have also bought potty chair and support socks and velcro shoes. Yes, price is somewhat costly but medical equipment is costly. Maybe you can find cheaper online but I like the ability to "shop" in the store and not have ship things back if they don't work out. My Dad's velcro shoes accommodated his edema and they've worked out great and the business worked with insurance

These people are the epitome of bad faith business people. Bought a bedside commode for my father that was never used. Returned it a few weeks later still wrapped in plastic and they refused to allow the return, pointing out the sign on the desk spelling out their return policy. This was done in a rude manner. After some attempts to reason with them, I cut my losses and left and promised this review so others will be warned. Then I noticed their return policy on the receipt—which of course you’d never see unless you bought something from them. The list of items that are non returnable is probably
