I can't say enough about this shop. I've been taking my bikes to them for about a year and a half. All of my interactions with the staff have been great. They are friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. I've had them install and dropper post, build a mtn bike, and work on my brakes. In each case, they have done good work for a fair price. They always take the time to explain what was done and point out things that I should keep my eye on. I will continue to bring my bikes to proVelo.

I've been going to ProVelo for around 5 years for bike maintenance, fitting and shopping. The staff is always friendly and helpful, once they even skipped a song that was playing because I mentioned I didn't like it! Chris is an expert bike fitter, and the pricing on that service is very reasonable. I've had him help me on three different bikes, and I've been able to comfortably ride for thousands of miles. Wow. What a solid, helpful, and friendly team at proVelo. Went in late in the day on a Sunday afternoon, after only a little research and advice from family, looking for a gravel bike. Laura took down and set up ~ 5 bikes for me to take for quick loops in the parking lot. She knew a ton, and was able to help lay out the various pros and cons of each bike, helped me optimize for value, and made sure I got all the accessories I needed with a 10% discount with a new bike!
After my first ~150 miles a week or so later, the front wheel was clicking so I popped in for an adjustment and the mechanic stopped

Was referred to proVelo by a neighbor and was not disappointed at all. Even with reduced hours currently they were able to get my bike in and actually had parts in stock. Staff was awesome, explained exactly what was broken on the bike and offered several options.
Bike now shifts correctly and planning my next upgrade now through this team.

Love this shop! I like 4 hours away, don't have a bike shop where I am from. So every time I come down this way I stop in. Couple years back Chris did my bike fitting and recommended a new front end. Life got in the way, I emailed him asking if I could drop my bike off Friday or Saturday to get that new front end. He happily accommodated. I called on my way down because we hit bad weather and Amanda let me know they would be in the shop closing up if I was a little after 6 and they would keep an eye out for me. We are from Arizona and are spending some time in Fort Collins. We ride road and mountain bikes and needed to find a good local bike shop for some adjustments and parts while we are here. This is an excellent bike shop with a staff that makes you feel welcome from the moment you step inside the door. Note that we have been cycling for over 30 years and have been in too many bike shops to count. A bike shop is only as good as the people that work there. The people here are very friendly and have the technical skills and the people skills to do a good job for you. Bottom line- this is my go to shop

I was mountain biking in a remote area and ran into a problem. After spending some time on the phone with me Max encouraged me to come on in. I made the 194 mile drive to the shop and my bike got immediate attention when I arrived.
Before long I was back on the road. The final bill was higher than discussed and the resolution offered by management was more than fair, in my opinion, and I Ieft the shop ready for more trail riding.
I wouldn't hesitate to use this shop again.

The Team at Provelo came through again! I brought my bicycle in with a brake problem. They diagnosed the problem right away and continued to tell me there was a recall notice for the make and model for my brakes. Being an awesome advocate for me, Provelo contacted the 'manufacture area rep' and got me back on the trails within a few days. Thanks Provelo :-)

Remember the days of the neighborhood bike shop where the staff were passionate cyclists themselves. Where they treated customers like neighbors and would go out of the way to ensure you're being helped right, sold the right goods and sometimes even lending a hand without a charge? Well, ProVelo is this place. I would say they lean more towards the Mountain Bike crowd, but still sell all forms of cycling goods and bikes.

I had an amazing experience with the proVelo staff at today's McKee Classic Bicycle Tour ride. The guy at the aid station (at the proVelo tent) was friendly and helped me get my front derailleur figured out in a matter of minutes. The rest of the ride continued without a hitch. I think I'm going to carve his likeness in a large block of butter and call it, "Mr. McFixit Buttah-hands"

My experiences over the past 4 years with the staff at ProVelo have been nothing less than stellar. The core team of guys: Greg, Chris, Travis and Morgan have been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about everything from a new Cannondale road bike purchase, to tire selection for Enduro racing. Their selection of inventory is excellent: boutique brands and high-profile equipment that lasts and that they repair when the time comes. These guys are really awesome! I brought my bike in and they helped tune it up after a previous shop did a poor job on it. proVelo did an outstanding job of tuning my bike. Not only that, but they went above and beyond to repair some work that was done improperly by the previous bike shop. They did the extra work for FREE! That was awesome.
