Hi I'm Jason Deamer, founder of Salt City Home Loans located in the heart of Salt Lake City. I started in the home loan industry over 19 years ago in 2001, and I've worked with and learned from some of the best in our industry. Mortgages are so much more than just a means to purchase a home.

Applying for a mortgage can seem like a daunting and scary process. To help, we've created a checklist of things for you to compile, complete and acknowledge before applying. Credit history is a recorded file of past and current credit that is utilized to compile a credit score. A closing cost is a payment required to finalize a home loan and is separate from a down-payment.
The most common type of loan option, the traditional fixed-rate mortgage includes monthly principal and interest payments which never change during the loan's lifetime. Adjustable-rate mortgages include interest payments which shift during the loan's term, depending on current market conditions. Typically, these loans carry a fixed-interest rate for a set period of time before adjusting.

This was an amazingly painless refinance. I was able to receive a low interest rate, with lower closing costs than expected. Kristal was easy to work with, immediately responded to my inquiries, and I was closed in under 3 weeks. I love that there was no pressure. I would recommend anyone wanting to refinance to go through this company. In summary, this was a fantastic experience!

Hands down the best lending experience I’ve ever had, and it’s not even close! The Salt City team was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had during the process. And speaking of the process, from our first conversation to the time we closed was less than three weeks. In addition to that, they did a great job of simplifying the process and minimizing the amount of work we had to do. Again, by far the best lending experience I’ve ever had, and I will definitely be using Salt City Home Loans again in the future!

Christi and Krysta made our refinancing process smooth and timely. Less than 14 days from application to closing. Christi was super responsive and went the extra mile when we had questions and there were many. We'd put off refinancing due to bad experiences with our first closing process. We should have done this sooner with Christi!

Alice was always happy and willing to speak with us. The process was made to be simple, efficient and easy to understand. We turned in requested docs quickly and they were just as quick to respond with progress on the loan. I like the upload process for submitting documentation. Salt City Home Loans had great rates and doesn't mess around.

I usually refinance our home every 4 years so I am very much familiar with home refinancing.
Salt City is totally on the ball!!! From the day I first called Christi till the of closing it took just 3 weeks! This country can use lots more of Christi’s (Home Loan broker) and Alex’s (loan processor) for any job this USA has on the jobs market. They don’t mess around, they get it done! I am so very happy with Salt City Home Loans, I will make sure I let other people know if they are in the market to buy or refinance and I will use them again myself. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE FOLKS!
