Dr. Sohyun Park is a board-certified periodontist and a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the State University of New York at Buffalo and then spent an additional year in Advanced Education in General Dentistry program from Lutheran Medical Center in Albany, NY.

Dr Wiesen, Dr Park and team are marvelous! They are always on-time. They make everything as painless as possible. They are flexible and do everything possible to make it easier for me. Procedures are explained clearly. I have been their patient for many years. As long as I can manage my commute to SF from the East Bay, I will be their patient.

I had the most pleasant experience with gum surgery at Pacific Coast Periodontics. Dr. Park did an amazing job on laser surgery. It was quick, and pain-free. My gums and pockets were fixed. Not only is she very skilled and knowledgeable, Dr. Park is very kind and attentive to her patients and their concerns. I've never had a problem with my teeth, but my gums were always sore and sore before I visited the Pacific Coast Periodontics. So when I was stressed, my gums swelled up, and I got a headache.
After receiving treatment for gums at the Pacific Coast Periodontics, the pain in the gums and the headache had disappeared. The gum surgery was a little scary and painful, but in my case, the recovery was quicker than I expected, and the comfort I gained afterward cannot be compared with before.

I highly recommend Dr. Park and her team as she is efficient, capable, patient (I'm always super nervous), gentle and really nice as is everyone in the office. If you need surgery, laser is the way to go. I've had multiple excruciating surgeries in the past and trust me, this is the way to go. Fight the fear and make your appointment now, you won't regret it.
If you need a routine cleaning, please don't hesitate to see Angela. She is gentle yet very thorough, also very efficient, and a really nice person who understands dental anxiety. She's well worth a visit!

Dr. Park saved my tooth! It was looking like the gum disease at one of my teeth was so advanced that I would need to have the tooth extracted and get an implant. But Dr. Park's laser treatment was able to treat the gum disease so that I was able to keep the tooth. She did an amazing job on this very tough case. In addition to being very skilled and knowledgeable, she explains everything well and is very patient in answering questions.
