We used Reed Fence & Deck to build a pergola in our backyard. We solicited several bids. Shane Reed was the only one who arrived on time and sent us the bid in the time promised. He gave us the best bid for the project. He was also the only one who brainstormed how to build the pergola so that we would not lose as much usable patio space. Both he and his project manager visited while the crew was constructing the project. The crew was professional and did beautiful work. Shane also referred us to an electrician who did a phenomenal job wiring the pergola. We are thrilled with the pergola and recommend

I hired Reed to replace two cedar decks, railing and fencing in my back yard. This was a large project, including Ipe hardwood flooring and a pergola over the spa.

I don't typically write reviews, but wanted to share my very positive experience regarding Shane and his company. Every aspect of my experience was top-notch. The process started with a timely estimate and Shane followed that up with actual color samples (not simply pictures) so we could feel comfortable with our color choice. I requested a couple of extra items on the fence, and Shane took care of those with no problem. Finally, his installation crew was excellent. They worked around a couple of obstacles in my backyard and delivered a really nice final product.

Amazing service from the Reeds! I called and left a message on a Sunday and didn't expect a return call until at least Monday or later. A few hours later Tiffany Reed called me back from a ski trip in Utah! I was immediately impressed that they were interested in gaining my business (many companies I called didn't return call first days). Very professional, from the first contact to the last -- you must check out Shane Reed and his company. Shane came out to our house personally, to view the yard and discuss what we wanted, did not rush and answered all our questions. Our fence is extremely well constructed and just beautiful. The crew who worked on our fence was just great, all direct employees of Reed Fence, not contract workers. My husband is an engineer, and we don't hang or build ANYTHING without a chalk line and a level ... argh. And even if he had built this fence himself, it could not be any better!

Our neighborhood has front entry driveways so our backyard fences are shared. Shane Reed patiently worked with me and all of my neighbors to provide estimates and address any concerns we had. This was especially important because homeowner association documents were not very helpful. Shane did a great job, held true to his estimate and finished the work as scheduled. Nearly two years later, my fence still looks great. I highly recommend Reed Fence and Deck.
