It is with deep regret that World of Animals Veterinary Hospital is cancelling our annual charity event to benefit Red Paw Emergency Relief Team for 2020. We had hoped circumstances would have improved by now allowing our event to proceed in September but we feel it would not be safe or responsible for us to have the event at this time.
From routine annual wellness and new puppy/kitten appointments to sick visits, World of Animals at South Philadelphia is a full-service hospital equipped to handle a wide variety of diseases and conditions. Dr Wrigley and his entire staff were so compassionate and professional when dealing with my daughter's dog Honeycutt in his final moments. It's always an extremely difficult time when dealing with the loss of a pet, and everyone at World of Animals did their best to ease our pain as much as they could. Honeycutt will be missed forever, but we will always appreciate the care you gave him in his final moments.

Incredibly competent and friendly. I had to bring my cat in for several visits in a relatively short amount of time, and by the 2nd or 3rd visit everyone there knew my cat and seemed genuinely happy to see him. When my cat had to get surgery, it gave me immense peace of mind to know with confidence that he was being well taken care of by the amazing staff here. They always take the time to talk through test results with me and ensure I fully understand all the information they're presenting.

Dr Wrigley and staff (Monica, Claire, and Erin) had welcomed myself for shadowing during the difficult times now during the pandemic. They were wonderful and welcoming to me, explaining how their clinic is structured and operates. Behind the scenes they take such great care for the patients and owners. Dr. Wrigley goes out of his way to find printed out information, and also in the owners natives languages if its not English. He spends longer hours on completing medical records and following up with the progress of his patients. The staff is very friendly and social, watching out for all the details

WOA South Philly is truly amazing! I am a first time dog owner and they look so much time explaining everything to me about what I needed to know. They also took amazing care of my dog. Erin and Anna were SO sweet and made both my dog and I very comfortable and happy. They were fantastic. My dog was in love with everyone there too. They were gentle and very caring with him. Then at the end, they made sure I had everything I needed, including informational packets AND gave him a toy to take home! Will never go to another vet after this one. If you’re looking, stop right here and book!

Couldn't ask for a better experience! Everyone was SO NICE and I could tell they truly cared about my dog. I would trust these people with anything. Comet got a free toy as a welcome gift and a complimentary nail trim...I've never had a veterinary clinic do that. The vet as super thourough, going over his entire history and gave me so much advice. The techs treated my dog like he was one of their own. I'm so happy I found this place and so lucky it's close to my house. I honestly couldn't ask for better care for my one and only. Absolutely, 100% highly recommended!

My family just got a dog and neither my wife or I have ever owned a dog before. Everyone at World of Animals was so sweet and kind to our new miniature schnauzer! He even got a toy for being such a good boy while getting a shot and some blood drawn for a test.
They were so patient in answering all the "new dog owner" questions I had about food, barking behavior, etc. and I never felt like I was rushed despite being the last appointment of the day. They were very thorough in describing the "lifestyle" vaccines that I should consider and not pushy about getting them.
