Services
Lou has been an RN since 1976 when she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 1985, and certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in 1997 from University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Her core philosophy is individualized care with a focus on wellness and patient education.
Lisa K. Myers, RN, PMHNP provides mental health care (medication and therapy) to women from the age of fifteen through adulthood. In addition to treating PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, anxiety, and major depressive disorder, she specializes in treating women who are experiencing pregnancy and postpartum related mood changes.
Our office is organized on an appointment system. We will make every effort to arrange an appointment that is convenient for you, and we will always make room for urgent problems. A nurse practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who has completed additional graduate level training beyond that of a registered nurse (RN). NPs provide high-quality healthcare services similar to those of a doctor. Females should have their first gynecological exam by the age of 20, or when they become sexually active.
