Purpose Psychiatry is a Telemedicine only practice offering medication management services through video with a focus on Depression and Anxiety disorders. Our treatment is aimed at helping client's find their purpose in life by getting back to basics, building upon strengths. At Purpose Psychiatry, we offer adult services in treating Major Depression, Anxiety and ADHD disorders.
Due to the nature of our telemedicine approach we are unable to support the level of care of other mental illnesses such as Bipolar, Schizophrenia, and Suicidal Ideations/Illnesses as well as conditions. We believe these conditions are better served at an in person practice location where the member can be supported at a greater level.

At Purpose Psychiatry we believe each person is put here on this earth with a purpose. We understand that your journey is unique and specific to you with the potential to be the best you can be. Our treatment philosophy is aimed at helping our client's find their purpose in life by getting back to the basics, building upon the strengths that each person possesses and helping each client maintain optimum mental health and wellness.
Our fees are structured to accommodate both those with and without insurance coverage. We understand that economical factors sometimes hinder and deter clients from seeking treatment which is why we tailor treatment costs to be fair, affordable, and sustainable without compromising quality.
By law, Medicare-eligible patients are required to enter into a private contract with the provider and we deliver medical care on a on a fee-for-service basis, which is not reimbursable by Medicare.By accepting the treatment contract, you agree that you shall not submit a claim or ask the provider.

Payment is due at time of service. We accept most all forms of payment except for checks. If you are paying with cash, exact amount must be provided. Debit/HSA/FSA cards, and all major credit cards are accepted and payment is made through the patient portal. For out of network clients, we can provide you with a bill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Jeremy is truly a patient advocate; cares tremendously about healing & getting his patient on the right mental track, provides amazing treatment to aid in my recovery. I cannot say enough about how Jeremy is never distracted by the noise of others who have ill intentions. He is vigilant in ensuring a path is paved of functional recovery that last.
Jeremy is also an Angel in disguise from heaven. I was beat down, but I could not have progressed this far without his counsel paired with prescribed meds for transitional cognitive adaptations.

Jeremy has been wonderful in my mental health. It was a long road and I finally have found the right treatment. Easy to say I feel happy and thriving! I had a terrible allergic reaction to an anti depressant while battling postpartum. I actually almost died. Jeremy had me to a test to see what was good according to my genetics. He saved my life and my family!!! Forever grateful for his knowledge and how thorough he is.

Not only is Jeremy knowledgeable in his field, he is also a stand up character. I learned that he’s striving for his doctorate in mental health and he’s also a high level purple belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu, which is impressive. He’as always been kind and helpful. And never shying away to show compassion and acting from the right place. His title as a nurse practitioner is impressive enough.

Life changing experience! Dr. Verhines is compassionate and patient. He has a warm demeanor that makes you feel welcome, understood, and cared for. He is incredibly knowledgeable and changed my treatment plan as my symptoms changed and evolved. He genuinely listened as my mind and body reacted differently than most to some medications and was willing and able to adjust things accordingly. Would recommend him to EVERYONE!! When your insurance networks fails you, you have to find alternative solutions. I am so grateful that I was able to locate Jeremy. I went from being on 15 pills and four different medications daily to weaning the correct way off of them and really try to find out what works best for my body.
