Traditional Services are still available please call our office for additional information. Services
Irwin M. Judd Funeral Home was founded in 1954 on Market Street in Scranton, Pennsylvania. In 1969 the Hamilton Street building was purchased from a local doctor, after a year of extensive renovations the Hamilton Street location was opened. Later that same year the Market street location was closed.
We strive to continually improve the services we offer, in order to: retain our current Client-Families, gain new customers, and increase the positive image we project to the community. By keeping our system and operations simple and lean, we can use our energies to concentrate more fully on the excellent individualized service we provide to those we serve.
At Judd-Beville Funeral Home, Inc., we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
The Management and Staff of Judd- Beville Funeral Home, Inc. is here to assist you at any hour of the day or night. Derick is a graduate of the Funeral Service Education Program at Northampton Community College. Rev. Robert L. Bass serves as the Chaplain for our Funeral Home, he is available to assist families as needed at a moments notice.

What can i say, at a time when one is most vulnerable Jason came thru big time in handling my Father in law funeral service with grace and honor, i would recommend them if ever in need of having to say goodbye to a loved one. By far most affordable prices but 5 star service and compassion. Thank you Jason & team!!!

I chose this funeral home because my mother only wanted direct cremation and they were so reasonably priced. But beyond that, the service we received was excellent. I was only in state because of my mother and would have had to have her cremains mailed. I was disappointed but aware of this prior to speaking to them. However, once they learned of this, they made it possible for me to take her back with me just a few days later. I will forever be grateful for their compassion!

During such difficult moments it's important that a loved ones final wishes be honored. I highly recommend this business if you are looking for an easy flowing experience. Tim and his staff were amazing during my family's hard time. They made the worst day of our life more than bearable. Tim took the time to listen to our memories to ensure the perfect service for my grandmother. With the help and compassion of Tim and his staff, we were able to laugh and commemorate her memory. Because I work closely with bereaving families in my church, I have had the opportunity to work very closely with Judd Funeral Home, now Judd-Beville Funeral home many times over the last few years. Tim and staff are always the utmost professionals and provide an awesome service for families. Jude's funeral home is amazing. They took care of my dad. The way they handled everything for my family and myself was just awesome. From the time I walked in the door we was greeted with respect and professionalism. My dad did not have insurance but they worked with our family. He was the sharpest I have ever seen him. They had so many options for us that we could not decide .
I have gone to several funeral and never have I been in a funeral home that just did not make you feel like a client but they made us feel like FAMILY.. I still view my dads picture on there site. I can never thank them

I know that the last thing people doing Yelp reviews will look for funerals but I had to post this. Tim and the guys at Judd Funeral were very compassionate and professional with my mom and I during my father's funeral. Please don't be scared by other funerals saying the location is not good. The room was nice and very intimate for my family members. And the price was very reasonable.

My brother went home to be with the Lord on July 16, 2013. At that time, an autopsy had to be performed, as he was only 41 years old and had not had a history of illness. He lived in Allentown, PA and the bulk of my family lives in the NYC/Fl area. This made it difficult to effectively plan a timely funeral. Another funeral home was recommended to us and we inquired. We found that funeral director curt, rude and somewhat insensitive. We felt that he was taking advantage of the situation and was unwilling to meet our financial budget.
