Felicia L. Wiedemann is an Allentown native that grew up in a small town in Central PA. In 2005, the Downing family took her on for her student training and then provided her an internship and Funeral Director position.
This includes a viewing or visitation and formal funeral service, along with transporting the body to the funeral site and cemetery, and burial, entombment or cremation. In addition to arranging the notification, visitation, and funeral service, you will choose a burial receptacle for your loved one. Burial vaults are lined and sealed outer receptacles used in cemeteries for underground interment. In most areas of the country, state or local law does not require that you buy a container to surround the casket in the grave.
At the time when memories of your loved one are most meaningful, we now offer Digital Memorial Slideshows displayed on a 50 inch plasma screen. Up to 25 photos recalling precious moments in the life of your departed continuously scroll to the accompaniment of appropriate music. The Digital Memorial Slideshow will be returned to you on a DVD that can be viewed at home on your TV or computer.
We are a member of the National Funeral Director's Association (NFDA). We help families create a ceremony that celebrates a life lived, an important part of the healing process. We can coordinate sources of many community resources who also may promote additional support. It offers great emotional and financial security.
