Being diagnosed with a terminal illness is bad enough, but trying to finish living your life with all the new "developments" that happen to you is brutal. Thank goodness for this company. They have everything you need, and if they don't, they will find it. Then, they will explain it to you in terms you can understand, and they make sure you "got it". GDMS has helped things be a little less scary. That alone is priceless. A super huge sincere thanks to every associate in there, they are the most helpful, considerate, sincere people. They are what makes this place so incredible.

The staff here is very friendly, which more than makes up for the minor problems I have had. I have bought the same leg bags from them for a while, until the last 3 times the bags lasted less than a month vs 2-3 months. The first time I mentioned it she told me that she had to confirm that it was a bad batch before they would refund my money. I mentioned it this time and she gave me 3 free bags. Hopefully they will find out what is going on with them, because they do have low prices.

I live in Jamestown, NC. I’m 71 years old and have a rare muscle disease that prevents me from walking up steps and getting up off of a chair. I had the good fortune to call Greensboro Discount Medical. Mark (owner) came to my home (at no cost) and did a walkthrough and made recommendations for products that would make my life easier. He took his time and made my concerns his concerns. That was 3 months ago; in those three months I purchased a portable wheelchair, a device that helps me get up off the toilet, and a chair lift to carry me up to the second floor. With these aids, Mark has changed

I purchased two Acorn stairlifts through this business earlier this summer and have been very pleased. They were quickly and professionally installed by Mark, one of the owners. He gave me a helpful tutorial and I was ready to go. I have a spinal problem that makes walking up and down stairs very uncomfortable and more than a bit treacherous. Having the stairlifts gives me access to the basement and attic and relieves my fear of falling on the stairs and means I can remain in my home. Additionally, I was pleased that the cost was lower than I expected—lots less expensive than moving!

Mark and his store -were a God send. Literally. As my mother aged, he did everything possible to make her transition as easy and as safe as possible. From an indoor and outdoor walker to a beautiful lift chair ,as well as bathroom safety equipment, he met her every need in both prolonging her independence and keeping her safe. Every challenge we faced-he was there with suggestions and most importantly, solutions and always at very reasonable prices. We are thankful for him and for Greensboro Discount Medical Supplies.

A fantastic experience from the first phone call through installation of a stairlift for my elderly Mother. Mark was extremely patient and knowledgeable. He not only made us feel at ease but he also brought a smile to my Mom’s face as he guided her on what to do. I reviewed and spoke with multiple companies. Installation was quick. He arrived on time and was very professional. I’m so happy we chose this company. I highly recommend using them.
