Do you lie awake at night thinking about whether or not you should stay in your relationship? Do thoughts go through your mind over and over again worrying that leaving would hurt someone you care about and you could end up alone if you did? Making the decision to stay or go can be agonizing. You no longer want to tolerate the status quo but are afraid of taking the next step to change it.
Constantly fighting, having an unsatisfying sex life. Feeling like you're just roommates. Disrespect, verbal abuse, neglect, or infidelity can make you feel stuck and frustrated. Not feeling validated in your own relationship is not a happy place to be. When you aren't feeling your best you aren't feeling life's best.

Sara is a consummate professional and works with intense passion. Her book is spot on called Happy Me Happy We! I started going to Sara to help with communication barriers in my marriage and realized that most of what needed work was my reaction to things that literally had nothing to do with my husband. She has helped me gain a better perspective of how I should go about handling my own deep seated feelings before placing a huge emphasis on my communication gaps. Thanks Sara for opening up the Channels for me.

Working with Sarah for the past 4 months has been a life-changing experience. I am very appreciative of her approach and tact during every interaction. Her methodology is personable, empathetic, and helpful in framing up my experience in new ways to better understand my situation and what behaviors I need to focus on developing. I am excited to continue my work with Sarah!

Sarah is straight to the point and no BS.
I paid for Couples intensive therapy with my ASD partner.
She should nt offer that service for ASD partners because she should know they need on
going therapy for it to work or sink in.
I think it ended up being a waste of my money. If we went in a more frequent basis, she probably would be more helpful.
Tip if you have a ASD partner, dont pay for couples intensive session.

Sarah. Called me back and wanted to here more input. She was apologetic too me and wanted to resolve the issue by treating me personally for a couple sessions with no charge

I have worked with Sarah on and off for the past 8 years dealing with my marriage and post marriage. Sarah has been able to help me navigate my thoughts and feelings throughout the various stages of my married and unmarried life. Above all, Sarah is an effective communicator who gives you tangible tasks to do to help you improve and to ulitimately help you grow in multiple phases of your life.
I would definitely recommend Sarah if you are struggling to find your purpose or identify in your marriage. She is a great listerner and is truly cares for each client she has.

Sarah was the greatest asset during the most difficult time. She provided the tools I needed, and the continued guidance and support. Her unbiased approach allowed for unclouded communication. Ultimately it is up to you and your partner to do the work. What you put in to the process, you will get out of it and I will be forever appreciative to Sarah and all of her knowledge and expertise.

I found Sarah first as a marriage counselor, then continued seeing her on my own. They say you need to try therapists out to find the one that fits for you; meeting and talking to Sarah felt like discussing things with a great friend, with the added bonus of knowing you're getting educated, professional advice and questions that are focused on helping you. I first started going to her over 5 years ago regularly, then for tune-ups from time to time. I have recommended many to her, will continue to do that.

Sarah, You truly help me get through one of the darkest chapters in my life. The tools and wisdom you shared with me helped me mature in ways no one else had. Holding myself accountable and not projecting my issues on others is one of my greatest flexes in life. And yes, I did the work, but you challenged me. Friends and family members along the way have benefited from the knowledge I gained from the time I was blessed to have spent with you. I look forward to reading your book. Thank you for being such an amazing soul❤️

I was lost and angry after learning of my husband's multiple infidelities over our 35 years of marriage. My whole world was turned upside down and didn't know if our relationship could survive. After doing a lot of research, I found Sarah and had my husband schedule an appointment for a three hour intensive session. Sarah gave us honest and heartfelt feedback. She also gave us examples and drew from her personal experiences which really helped us relate to the information she was sharing. The session brought us to a deeper understanding of motives for the past affairs and she gave us tools to hopefully

I have been seeing Sarah on and off for the past two years and recently, on a more regular basis. Sarah is always willing to work with you and around your schedule and provides honest and genuine feedback.
I have seen a handful of other therapists in San Diego but none have given me practical tips and exercises to work on in between sessions as Sarah has. She has helped me with a number of situations I have found difficult to sort out on my own, with patience and compassion. She is easy to open up to and helps you work through your own thoughts in a kind and non-judgmental way. Her advice is helping

Sarah was very helpful in giving my husband and I effective tools to communicate and put strategies in place to mange conflict. We initially sought counseling several years ago and continue to receive on a maintenance basis. Sarah helped us identify what we wanted in our relationship. She says it's important to state what you need from one another. We are still doing well. Again, I highly recommend Sarah for Marriage Counseling as she is direct and gives you what you need to move forward. She is an excellent couples counselor and I highly recommend her services.
