If you have arthritis, I highly recommend Dr. Ma and team. My first two sessions I had so much pain in my hip and lower back from an old injury I could hardly lay on the table. After weekly sessions I can say I am pain free and amazed. I plan to stay on a maintenance program to assure that I never have to feel that awful ever again.

I very highly recommend Joanna Willis. I was receiving Physical Therapy for two months to get over some severe pain as a result of a recent surgery to no avail.
Joanna Willis was recommended to me as a fantastic Acupuncturist to try instead and I couldn't be happier with the results! She was able to relieve me of my pain after four weeks of treatments.

I came to Dr. Ma and his team while visiting Minneapolis at the start of winter and cold temps, with a persistent cold and chest cough. The treatment was effective and inclusive of many modalities, such as needles, herbs cupping and massage; very comprehensive. I ended up going to both the Minneapolis and Edina locations to see Dr. Ma twice. I highly recommend the care & value of the treatments.

Dr. Ma is amazing! I went for bad headaches that weren’t improved with over a year of treatments by: MD, chiropractors, bi-weekly massage, ibuprofen, or a TMJ mouth guard. He not only had them almost gone after a few treatments, my 7 years of shoulder pain is almost gone, and many years of low back pain is significantly improved! Thanks, Dr. Ma!!!

At the beginning of 2018, I started having problems with my sleeping. I hardly got two hours of sleep at night. I have also been suffering from issues due to my sciatic never for years. My sinus gives me a lot of pressure pain in my cheeks and forehead. I basically had a daily headache. I let that go on for quite a long time. I finally decided to go and visit the doctor. She recommended sleeping pills and some stretching exercises for the sciatic pain.
I am not much into taking prescription pills, so I investigated acupuncture to treat my problems.

I am thrilled to report that my neck pain is gone as well as the tingling and numbness in my right hand, and I no longer need to wear a mouth guard at night because I stopped clenching my jaw and grinding my teeth. My sleep has improved remarkably as a result and my muscles are more relaxed after 7 weekly treatments with Paige. I highly recommend Paige for other athletes. She knows how to heal the body so that you can stay active and continue to do the things you love.

Amazing results in 6 sessions. This treatment was suggested to me by a friend who I trust about health. My left leg, the glutinous maximus, was very sore. I was having trouble climbing stairs. I had stopped playing ice hockey. It bothered me all the time. My right knee also nagged with pain. He suggested that I try acupuncture and he knew Ben at AHC. It seemed unusual. However the therapy worked after the first session. After four treatments I hit the ice and played hockey. The treatments I received from Ben and his accuracy in finding the pain; then reliving has allowed me to walk & skate

I wanted to have a licensed acupuncturist as opposed to a certified acupuncturist. I needed a specific treatment plan as a result of a brain injury. Through Dr. Ma's treatment, I have regained some feelings on my right side. He is very educated and compassionate, and I would refer Acupuncture Health Center to anyone that is looking for an acupuncturist.
