Services
American High School Academy's Adult High School Completion Program provides the opportunity for individuals, ages 16 years and older, to earn a high school diploma from an Accredited School. There is no maximum age limit for the diploma program. Students can choose to enroll in the morning session, running from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM or the afternoon session, running from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
American High School Academy's Credit Recovery Program allows full-time students enrolled in public / private high schools to take the credits they require to meet their school's graduation requirements. American High School Academy's credit recovery courses are self-contained, independent study units designed to supplement your school's existing curriculum.
The Middle School is a community of students, parents and teachers who work together in the classrooms, studios, science labs, courts and fields. We are learners and experimenters whose success and challenges lead to growth. Through collaboration and connection, we are all able to both lead and follow, while relying on one another.
According to the National Center on Secondary Education and Transition (NCSET), a child drops out of high school every nine seconds. American High School Academy's alternative education and dropout recovery programs help communities combat the staggering social and economic costs of high dropout rates.

This school is absolutely great! I have twin boys who were not thriving in the public school system. I enrolled them both and for the first time I saw a spark of intetest in school. They both graduated from AHSA , one became a metro dade police officer and the other a very successful entrepreneur. All it takes is a little bit of hope and care, for life to bloom. That is what American High School Academy gave my kids. Now my niece who suffers from anxiety is currently enrolled and is flourishing she's very happy. We all learn differently and the staff knows that, always encouraging and very supportive

This school is the best unfortunately I haven’t got my diploma yet because I just mailed them everything. I have completed home base . Also I’m very glad that I have found this school, I just wish I found them sooner after my graduation year of 2003. It’s easy and simple Thankyou American high school Academy. If I could I’ll give guys five more stars because you guys actually care. But I have question do the students who completed high school at home do they have to attend a graduation ceremony??? Or can they????

I graduated from American High School Academy's alternative school program in 2019. Due to my medical condition I had too many absences to finish in my regular school. American High School Academy helped me complete my remaining high school requirements and prepared me for the SAT. Once I graduated I applied to "FIU" Florida International University which is my current school. I'm now a full time student at FIU majoring in Journalism, I can honestly say that without American High School Academy this might not be possible. I highly recommend American High School Academy for all educational needs

Hi I am a current AHSA student. I absolutely love the school. The programs are unexcelled and the student support staff is really helpful. I really appreciate the high educational value AHSA offers. This school isnt easy at all. You take one class at a time but if you study hard you can finish quick. So theres a very good chance you will finish your studies sooner than you could possibly imagine. AHSA is a wonderful school. My brother graduated from American High School Academy in 2017 did excellent and was accepted into UM University of Miami so to all the AHSA haters... it is Fully Accredited

My daughter was behind in credits and was not going to be graduating from high school on time. Her school wanted her to attend night classes along with virtual school "flvs" but that was not an option. I was recommended to American High School Academy by the Assistant Principal at Felix Varela Senior High School. At American High School Academy she was able to get back on track and graduate on time. She is now attending Miami Dade College and is very happy. I would recommend American High School Academy to anyone needing help, the teachers are great and the counselors help you! Cap Advisors register

As the parent of troubled 11TH and 12th graders, I need to say that the Alternative Education program offered by American High School Academy is offering my children an amazing experience that the public schools system couldn’t.
The alternative high school completion program offered at the American High School Academy is unique. My son is taking Personal Finance as an elective and cannot be happier. My daughter is enjoying very much Personal Career Development, experiences that motivate and teach real life skills.

I attended the classroom based program for High School Completion at American High School Academy. They gave me the 2nd chance I needed to succeed, since traditional high school was not for me. With teachers and administrators that actually care, they motivated me to succeed, helped me obtain my missing high school credits, graduate from high school, the CAP advisor Mr. Rey helped with my financial aid application and apply to MDC. Well, now I enrolled in Miami Dade College and in my 3nd semester, I couldn't be happier. You guys are making a real difference, thank you.

This is a great school for all type of ages. When i graduated school back in 2012 i didn't recieved my diploma, but had all 24 credits. Everyone kept pursuing me to get my G.E.D; as the person i am i don't settle for less. My brother went to this school purchased his home book from them and when he was done they actually gave him his official legit high school diploma. That's when i went ahead and followed my brother foot steps and finally got my HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA. it's a very easy book and you do it on your own time @ your very own pace.
