Stokes built a dock for us a few years ago and we were exceptionally pleased from start to finish. When we moved and it was time to build another one we didn't even contact another contractor for quotes. We called Tony and quickly received a very fair quote and a design that suited our needs perfectly. Travis and his crew provided excellent customer service and a quality product. Just had Stokes Marine redo my dock. It was a complete tear down and rebuild, only the pilings were the same. Their entire team was very professional and communication was excellent. They came to do the estimate on time and listened to all my requests. Then stokes had a very detailed cad drawing of the project. Then they actually started the project earlier than promised and finished on time. I would highly recommend Stokes Marine for dock repair, replacement or new build. Very satisfied customer.

I’ve been renovating an old home here in the Cape for 2 years. Dealt with a dozen or so different contractors for various trades. There seemed to be so few with integrity and commitment to their promises. Stokes is a real company with real professionals. When I started getting quotes for my new dock project (800+ square feet of decking, two boat lifts, and a kayak step), I called three area experts, Including Stokes. After all three came to my house for the walkthrough, I told my wife - I hope Stokes is the cheapest, because their salesman (Nick) was the most knowledgeable, easiest to have a discussion with, and most responsive.
After several iterations of design changes, Stokes definitely continued on the top of the list. In the end, there were not the cheapest, but their customer service convinced me they were who I wanted.

Stokes Marine was outstanding to work with from the very beginning with Austin Peterson designing and bidding our project to the many changes we made with the help and patience of Matt Felton in customizing our dock and 3 lifts to meet our needs. The guys from Stokes came out and were very courteous, on time and did a great job on our dock and bridge. Everything was fairly priced and done with great quality. What a great experience with a marine contractor from start to finish. John (our contact) came to job-site within 2 days of contacting him to get a dock proposal to us. Proposal was fair and detailed. Time frame from start to finish was fast. Carpentry craftsmanship and materials were really good for a marine contractor. A lot of time was spent on small finer points that a homeowner appreciates. John kept us up to date through the whole process.
