Your gown is a unique treasure that, if improperly handled, cannot be easily replaced. We promise to treat your gown with the love and care you would expect from Oakwood "The Greener" Cleaners. We can press your gown, so it is perfect for that special day. Bring your gown and/or veil to either of our locations at least 2 full weeks before you would like to have them.
Prices shown are for our basic dry cleaning and laundry services. Prices may change due to the extra care required for garments constructed with delicate fabrics, trims, beading, leather, pleating, difficult staining, and notion or button removal. Some designers and manufacturers also require special care that could result in higher pricing.
Our route customers enjoy the very special convenience of not having to make that special trip to the dry cleaner. Once you're on our route, we designate a Pickup and Delivery Location (PDL) at your house. Once a month or twice a week - we can take care of you. Your route driver checks the PDL, retrieves your bag, and delivers your clothing from the previous route day.

Highly recommend Oakwood Cleaners! I had them clean my heavy queen size bed comforter prior to storing it for the summer months and had no issues. Service was faster than expected. "Green" safe cleaning products are used. Customer service is excellent. I live in the West End area so location is perfect.

I have a vintage pink and ivory lace dress my mother hand made for my daughter about thirty years ago. It was damaged by a framer who used double sided tape to attach it to a mat board for framing, rather than sewing it (as I requested) so it could be removed easily. I was so concerned it was ruined. When carefully removed from the mat board, some of the tape and a few pieces of the dark paper board came off onto the dress. Oakwood Cleaners cleaned and restored the dress perfectly. I took my wedding dress to Oakwood Cleaners to be cleaned and preserved. They did a wonderful job on the dress. They were able to get a large red wine stain out and completely clean the hem. They also showed me exactly how to care for the dress after preservation. It looks beautiful.
The only problem I had was with communication. I brought my dress in on August 22 and was told it would be cleaned and preserved by March 15. I made what I thought was a down payment on the dress. Not long after my daughter announced she was getting married, I once again discovered my grandmother's 120 year old wedding dress tucked away in a trunk just as I had found it so many years ago. After 30 years, I had forgotten I had it! I didn't expect my daughter to wear it as her wedding dress, but we both thought it would be wonderful if she could wear it for a photo. I asked around about where to get it cleaned and my most knowledgeable friend immediately said Oakwood Cleaners! I thought it could NEVER look this good. I trusted Oakwood Cleaners with my late mother's wedding gown from the 80s. It had damage from being stuck in a hot attic for years. Some spots I didn't think would come out, but they were able to restore the dress so well that it looked brand new. Not only that, but they got the yellowing out of the veil and train.
