He completed his undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln followed by the University Of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in Lincoln where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Upon graduation, he moved to Yankton to begin his practice.

My dental hygienist is very friendly and caring. When I ask questions, she often says "that's a good question " and she is genuinely sincere. I have seen Dr Baumann for years and he is very kind and gentle (I'm afraid of dentists), so that is really great. Dr Baumann is an empathetic caring dentist.

Outstanding work all around. From the receptionist, to the dental hygienist, to Dr. Baumann himself. I have been going to this dentistry ever since I was six years old and they haven’t changed as far as service goes. The hygienists are incredibly considerate when it comes to how you want to approach your dental care and ask many questions before and during to maintain the different levels of sensitivity that vary among people. Highly recommend to any and all.

I am extremely impressed with Dr Baumann. I am from out of state, and was traveling through on leave from the military. I needed an emergency root canal done ASAP. His entire staff were very friendly and professional. Dr. Baumann was excellent during the entire procedure, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my visit.
