Originally from Minnesota, I moved to Colorado to attend college at The University of Denver. Shortly after graduating, I started Tatterdemalion, the clothing store. We had a blast designing high-end woman's fashion however we had interior designers stopping in everyday that needed draperies and bedding for their clients.

The company is well-meaning and they are trying their best. I would, however, suggest doing business with any other company providing drapery service. When mistakes are made, they blame the customer. When products sold and delivered are incorrect, they blame the customer. The management is aggressive and ill-mannered. The sales people need work in aspects of service and care. It is exhausting doing business with them. I give them a two-star instead of a one-star because their installer Brian is competent and good.

We just finished our kitchen remodel (hooray!) and I wanted to highly recommend Tatterdemalion Inc out of Denver, if you need any upholstery work done. We commissioned a banquette bench seat and 3 bolsters. They are exquisitely done! This company is not cheap. They are dedicated, highly skilled craftspeople. This was considerable but we wanted someone to come take a template and do an amazing job...not just an ok job. Taylir and her crew did just that.
