Dallas CBT is an outpatient therapy and assessment clinic that specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT), an evidence-based and effective approach to treating psychological and behavioral concerns. CBT involves identifying and changing thought and behavior patterns that fuel negative emotions and create problems in your life.

In contrast to traditional talk therapies, our cognitive behavioral therapy is active and solution-focused and involves collaboratively setting concrete and measurable goals, increasing your understanding of the factors contributing to your problems, and developing strategies and tools to address problems in a new way.

Over the past few decades, Clinical Psychology has moved towards "empirically supported treatments" and "evidence-based practice." This means the field is getting better at identifying and promoting treatments for anxiety, OCD, & cognitive behavioral disorders that have been proven to work in multiple, high-quality research trials.
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) examines how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. CBT changes patterns of distorted thinking and unhelpful behaviors to improve mood, anxiety, and other psychological issues. Unlike many other types of therapy, CBT is more active and problem-solving oriented, collaborative, and shorter-term.
Exposure therapy is a type of CBT that is the most effective for anxiety and obsessive-compulsive related disorders. In fact, it is often referred to as the "gold-standard" of psychological treatments for these issues. Exposure involves gradually and systematically confronting fears and anxiety-provoking situations that you have been avoiding, with the aid and support of your therapist.
Psychologists at Dallas CBT provide comprehensive testing, recommendations, and treatment for learning disorders and ADHD. Are you worried that you or someone you care for has ADHD or a learning disorder? You might have noticed grades or work performance slipping, trouble with concentration, or difficulty with completing assignments, which could all indicate an attention or learning problem.
High quality CBT treatment is now available online. Dallas CBT is happy to offer online therapy services, also known as tele-psychology, to Texas residents. Depending on where you live, it might be hard to find a therapist specializing in cognitive behavioral and exposure therapy for anxiety or obsessive compulsive disorders.

Dr. Holland is AMAZING! My son suffers from OCD and it only got worse during the pandemic. Dr. Holland would work with him virtually 3 days a week at the height of his OCD. Dr. Holland is an answered prayer to our family. My son is now in college with a 4.0 and working also. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Holland to anyone!

I have been seeing Dr. Minze for about a year now. She is kind and compassionate, and these sessions have allowed me to gain more control of my health. getting an intake appointment is a bit of a nightmare, especially if you need some immediate help, but once you become an established patient, scheduling is pretty painless. the fees are expensive, even for private therapy, but you get what you pay for.

Dallas CBT is the best! I saw Dr. Croft Caderao for anxiety and she significantly changed my life through CBT and different "homework" assignments each session. Dr. Croft Caderao is such a genuine person, it is easy to open up to her and work together. I highly recommend her and the entire Dallas CBT team as a whole.

Over the last 10+ years, I have been to a number of therapists in hopes of finding the right fit and I FINALLY found it through Dallas CBT. They truly care about the well being of their patients versus many that want you to get in and out quickly for your money. Katie Sharp was my therapist and I can honestly say my life turned for the best after seeing her. She made me feel comfortable right away & every time I went I learned something new.
It was very hard in the beginning from all the exposures, but I can honestly say my anxiety doesn’t stop me anymore from doing the things I love to do.
Highly recommend this place.

Dr. Houlbjerg was fantastic through our sessions (15+ Sessions) and was attentive to everything. The sessions always went well and the task I was given as "homework" were outlined clearly for me. I can't thank her enough for the work she did with me.

I literally cannot say enough nice things about this practice and Andrea Kirby! I went in for my first appointment with extreme situational agoraphobia (literally couldn’t fly and go into elevators and back seats of cars).... after about 15 sessions, I now can fly in a plane without medication! Truly life changing! I never would have imagined that my life could change in that short amount of time- but it did! She used real life situations and put me (willingly) in a trunk of a car and other situations (that I didn’t expect to be helpful), and low and behold, it actually did help! I really cannot

If you are looking for a therapist, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND Dallas CBT . They are the absolute BEST!! The doctors are AMAZING!! They really care about helping you overcome obstacles that stop you from living your best life. I love the atmosphere and I do not feel like I am being judged when discussing my issues. Getting an appointment was easy breezy and the staff was super FRIENDLY and ACCOMMODATING. I will say that Dallas CBT Is WORTH EVERY PENNY for the services you are given.
