David started TTO in 2004 with a goal of making accounting useful & simple for small businesses and non-profits. Rameez is a Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) & Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and Xero Certified. He works with our bookkeeping & payroll clients. Magda's financial reporting & analysis experience (as well as her Kaizen training) makes her an asset to our clients.
For both Accounting and Tax Prep, our goal is to enable you and your business to achieve the best outcome. To have a chance at doing that, we need to understand your business and confirm that you understand our process. There are responsibilities on both sides. Setting expectations up front gives the engagement a better chance to be successful.
We've spent years iterating on a workflow to capture all your transactions in a way that is as 'painless as possible'. We're skilled and certified in Xero (our accounting system of choice) and many of the various add-on SAAS tools necessary to make this possible. Whether you have employees, contractors or both, we'll setup and maintain your payroll.
As a domestic or foreign owned C Corporation, you have a low threshold for filing compliance. We focus on keeping you compliant with Federal and applicable states. As an S-Corp., LLC or Partnership flow- through entity, your business income flows directly into your personal return. We prepare and distribute K-1s for each owner/member/partner while making sure your basis in the business is tracked properly.

Competent, Responsive, and Friendly. The Tunstall Group is the kind of service provider busy people need. If you don't want to allocate mental bandwidth to bookkeeping, tax filing, etc. (and who does?), then you can rest assured that TTG will solve this for you and you'll have one less thing to worry about. As a CPA, I know how taxing accounting is, from meticulously recording each transaction to preparation of updated financial reports. But with David's brilliant idea of collaborating different cloud-based tools, I can honestly say accounting has never been this easy.
Of course, we are not immune to challenges. But I can see why this organization is growing. Because we, at TTO, always strive to deliver the best customer service there is - client satisfaction is of utmost importance to us.

I've known the folks over at Tunstall for many years, and without trying to invalidate what the reviewer below stated, I've had nothing but great experiences with them.
On the accounting front, they are as capable as any I've come across. They not only produce the basic results that are table stakes in this day and age, but they also act and feel more like a consigliere about broader financial matters.
In addition, they are also people of impeccable character. They've been willing to help out on many matters for organizations that do not have the resources to higher people

After working with Tunstall Organization for over 10 months it was clear they had little to no interest in understanding our business.
One of the most frustrating experiences we have ever had with a vendor. Not only were we paying top-notch New York prices for services where we spent more time doing 'work-arounds' and fixing errors that they either caused, or should have fixed, but most, if not all of our work was being shipped off to the Philippines to workers 12 hours ahead with questionable understanding of the nuances of the English language.
All in all, a very disappointing experience

As a small business owner, it is my opinion that this was our single worst vendor to date. We could not wait to end the relationship.
David Tunstall from Tunstall Organization charged us an arm and a leg to the tune of over $2,000 per month, only to outsource our account to some random person overseas in a different time zone. We worked with David Tunstall for close to a year, just hoping that it would get better, and wanting to give him a chance.
However, the level of service just got worse and worse as the months sped by. Since we were so busy running our growing business we did not realize

I used Tunstall for our simple accounting needs and was extremely disappointed.
Not only were the prices extremely high, and far above other quotes I subsequently received from other accounting companies, but most of our work was shipped off overseas.
There is nothing more frustrating that being promised one set of services, only to be delivered substandard. I would have to wait 12 hours for answers, many of them confused because of the language.
