Desert Sounds provides access to musical instruments and instruction, mentoring and programming, and performance opportunities. Connecting diverse cultures and communities through music models creativity and leadership, teaches perseverance and teamwork and fosters understanding and acceptance.

Jeremy had a learning disorder that prevented him from reading. Learning music helped him fix the issue and he has since become a productive adult in the technology sector. When Jeremy was 14 years old, his best friend lost access to the trumpet he played in the school band. The school did not have another.

Desert Sounds is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization comprised of dedicated local community residents who understand the benefits of participating in the arts and have committed to promoting this goal, both personally and professionally. Despite their importance arts programs face declining school budgets.
By connecting music, community and culture we empower children with hope and confidence to become leaders. Honesty, integrity, commitment, self-discipline, vision, hard work, and teamwork are the foundation for success in all life's endeavors. Every child will discover and develop their talents and abilities to become self-sufficient adults.
Desert Sounds developed The Jeremy Project to assist underserved children access band and orchestra by lending them an instrument that will follow them throughout elementary and high school. Our premise is the use of an instrument is not an entitlement but earned through hard work, achieving goals and fulfilling basic requirements.
My name is Jonathan I have the pleasure to participate in the Jeremy Project and I am thankful to have the enjoyment to use one of your instruments. The main purpose of this letter is to notify that I want some private lessons, from Desert Sounds. I have multiple reasons why I want to have private lessons.
