As a 501(c)3 organization, programs and services of The Academy are designed for motivated individuals who desire the most from their efforts in the performing arts. We are committed to creating a positive learning and performing experience for all participants, and to providing members with the knowledge and inspiration to take their art to the next level.
In 2001, the founders of The Academy came together with the vision of enhancing the culture of music, dance, and the performing arts in Arizona. Set up as a non-profit organization from the beginning, this group formed as the first Board of Directors and began programming events, ensembles, and fundraising campaigns.
The quality of the experience is directly related to the quality and quantity of the world class volunteerinsm that makes these opporunities a possibility for our young members. The Academy Alumni Association Mission is: To support and enhance the experience of the current Members of the Arizona Academy Drum and Bugle Corps and The Arizona Academy of the Performing Arts by helping through financial support, volunteering, representing, and being the face of the organization.
Since 2001, The Academy Drum & Bugle Corps has been dedicated to building great people through great performances. We fulfill this mission by instilling in our members music and performance skills through the experience of participating in the drum and bugle corps activity, as well as life skills developed through experiencing the self-discipline and teamwork that is unique to our activity.
