Healthy Skin Dermatology of Oklahoma is a Dermatology clinic in Oklahoma City, OK founded by Dr. Elizabeth Farley Prater. Dr. Prater has over a decade of experience in the medical management of many different skin diseases including psoriasis, eczema, lichen sclerosus, lupus, dermatomyositis, morphea, hidradenitis suppurativa, and hair loss as well as more common skin conditions including acne, warts and skin cancer.
Our mission is to provide the best possible Dermatologic care to all of our patients, including those living with severe skin disease. By providing affordable and predictable pricing, we hope to extend this care to as many Oklahomans as possible. Chronic skin diseases including psoriasis, eczema, and many other conditions have been repeatedly proven to demonstrate emotional distress including insomnia, anxiety, and depression.
Dr. Elizabeth Prater is a board certified Dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has a true passion for the diagnosis and treatment of skin disease with special interest in serving those suffering from severe skin disease as they work to gain back a sense of normalcy in life.
We strive to treat each and every patient with the same care and respect that we would provide a family member or a close friend. Prater has gone above and beyond as my Dermatologist. When I was recently hospitalized she consulted with my doctors to provide me with the most accurate care. She monitors my lab work closely and has notified my primary care physician when something was off.
Our clinic offers pricing that is completely transparent and well tailored to each individual patient's need. Dr. Prater is an amazing doctor. I have been dealing with acne for years now and nothing worked. I’ve been going to Dr. Prater for 3 months now and when I say my skin is transformed I couldn’t be happier. Not only has she took the patience to work with me and clearing my acne she and her staff have been extremely pleasant and helpful!!!! I definitely recommend Dr. Prater!!!!! You won’t regret it!

Dr. Prater and her office staff, Kesia and Denise, are absolutley wonderful! I called FIVE other dermatologists in Edmond and OKC, each with a first appointment availability of April or May. Dr. Prater's office scheduled me for the next day! I was concerned about the cost, as this office does not accept insurance, but I really needed to be checked, so I went. The entire visit, treatments, and minor surgery totaled LESS than if I had used my insurance ( I have a deductible that has not been met)! The office was well appointed and immaculate. I just need to take a second to say how grateful I am to Dr. Prater for always taking such good care of me. I have been seeing her for years... initially she was an Integris provider, but when she struck out on her own I was impressed with her care enough that I followed her. Usually it’s biopsies, and removals of various unsightlies, and just overall wellness checks... but recently I decided to step back into the world of cosmetics. I had such a positive experience at Healthy Skin Dermatology. The ease of scheduling an appointment and the professionalism of the staff are unmatched. Dr.Prater listens to my concerns without appearing rushed yet she is always very punctual. She diagnosed my melanoma in an early stage when other dermatologist had missed it. I will be returning regularly and taking my kids to see her very soon!
