Dr. Jean Holewinski and Dr. Marie Williams are Podiatric surgeons that specialize in the treatment of foot and ankle problems. They work with traumatic injuries, Diabetic foot care, and reconstructive surgery such as bunions, hammertoes, neuromas and basic foot / ankle surgery. Dr. Holewinski and Dr. Williams are published authors in wound care journals on limb salvage.

I had to have bunion surgery and had moved to Miami. My doctor in New York recommended Dr Williams. He is the doctor for the NY Ballet Broadway and Cirque de soleil do he is very good. I found Dr Williams to be equally good Professionally and in her bedside manner. Her medical approach is very conservative which appeals to me.
Services
There are a variety of reasons why you may need to see a foot doctor. The musculoskeletal system of the feet, ankles, and lower legs involve many different parts that have to work together in unison to create smooth and pain-free movement. If any of these parts are not functioning properly, the whole system can suffer!
If you have never been to a podiatrist before, you may be nervous about your upcoming visit. Don't be! Millions of people see podiatrists every year for help with their feet, ankles, and lower legs. Did you know the average person takes about 10,000 steps every day? That is a lot of stress on your feet!
If you're experiencing pain in your feet, knees, legs, and/or back as a result of wearing shoes with little to no support, custom foot orthotics may be right for you! Custom foot orthotics are designed to align the foot and ankle into the most anatomically efficient position. They look similar to insoles, but are biomedical appliances that are custom made to correct your specific foot imbalance.
The Achilles tendon is the largest tendon in the body, joining the lower portion of the calf to the heel bone. Although it is able to withstand forces of around 1,000 pounds, it is the most frequently ruptured tendon in the body. Typically, injury of the Achilles tendon is caused by athletic activities.
Athlete's foot is a contagious fungal infection that mostly affects the feet, with the potential to spread to toenails and hands. The fungus thrives in warm, humid, and dark environments, which makes athletes more prone to the infection. Communal showers, swimming pools, and locker rooms are hotbeds for the bacteria.

Straight to it, Dr. Marie Williams is amazing, the individuality care her and the staff gives is just wonderful its like walking into your parents home where you feel safe and loved, she is a great surgeon, I had ankle surgery( fibula break) which went great and 11days after surgery I'm up and walking with some support no pain just sensitivity where incision was made. As a surgeon myself, I’m acutely aware of the critical attributes that are necessary for good medical outcomes. Preeminent among them are honesty and paramount concern for avoiding harm to the patient. I found Dr. Marie Williams to possess these and, as a bonus, she is a wonderful person. Having been treated previously by podiatrist who did not practice the safest methods, I am very happy I found Dr. Williams.

I was referred to Dr Williams by my family doctor and I’m so grateful that I was sent to her for my foot care. Dr Williams is the best podiatrist around and very well respected within the medical community. I have been through a lot with my foot, including surgery and I trust her completely. She has given me exceptional care and is very professional. Her staff are just the best... very sharp medical professionals, the office runs like a well oiled machine. I absolutely recommend Dr Williams to anyone looking for a podiatrist to care for them.

Dr Marie is not only one of the nicest people you will ever meet, she is dedicated to saving and healing your situation and does so with ease, I have known her for years and have referred many people with “impossible” situations which she has come up with creative and effective solutions to. She is truly a gem and someone who you can trust to help you no matter the challenges you face. Not to mention she is a ton of fun and a very calming influence and very skilled surgeon and doctor.
