GTL Sound Labs was established in 1976 as Audio Excellence of the Carolinas by Gary T. Little. We initially started as contract design engineering for large high-end speaker manufactures on the component level for drives, voice coils, and crossover networks. In 1980, we started designing and building custom two-channel loudspeakers for the elite who could afforded them and wanted it completely correct.
The AE 653C in ceiling were designed to be a perfect match with the AE 653 in-walls with exact timber. This is very important when using these as Dolby ATMOS in a theater with the AE 653 In-walls, as you will have flawless transparency throughout the theater. Our proprietor driver delivers a high-quality sound and are easy to install with 8 magnet raddle-proof bezel less grill.
The GTL Sound Labs Audio Excellence AE 663 is the baby brother to the multi award winning AE 963 used in the CEDIA 2016 Global Best Home Theater. The AE 663 shares our resounding chamber technology used in the AE 963 and fits vertically into a standard 2x4, 16 in on center wall with incredible ease.

I was looking for replacement inwall speakers for my media room (not really a home theater, but still wanted better sound) and stumbled across GTL Sound Labs. I talked to the owner (Gary) on the phone several times, with him guiding me through the speaker selection process. I ended up installing three AE663 speakers (front, left, and center). After re-running Audyssey on my Denon receiver, the sound Improvement was so tremendous, there was really no comparison. Fuller, clearer, more dynamic, I don’t really have the adjectives to describe how much better it sounded.
