Ali J. Amirshahi graduated from Mary Washington College in 1988 and from the College of William and Mary Law School in 1992. He was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1992 and to United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia in 2000. Mr. Amirshahi began his legal career with the Richmond Public Defender's Office where he served as an Assistant Public Defender and then as a Senior Assistant Public Defender.
