In 2007, Kirstin and Gregor Martin purchased a piece of property on Madison Street near their home in Chicago. Kirstin had decided to pursue her dream and open a boutique. She combined her consulting background and love of weddings to create a business model including wedding themed gifts and consulting for brides.

Such a cute store and perfect for buying gifts! They've got a fun selection of cards, books, winter hats, scarves, gloves, candles, jewelry, a large section for children's gifts, and so much more! My favorite is their plushies--they've got cute plush succulents, and peaches, pumpkins, lemons, etc. These plushies have cute little eyes, smiles, and feets--adults also can't resist them! If you're doing some holiday or birthday shopping, this is the place to go to shop and support local businesses. High quality goods that you can see the moment you walk through the doors. I

Erin and Samantha were kind and helpful even though we did not do business together.
As opposed to a transactional approach, they came across as very consultative which is great these days.
I wish them continued success and only gave them one star because I cannot speak of their finished product but if their customer service is any indication of their work, they are amazing.

Erin at Smitten boutique not only created the most beautiful Wedding Invite suite, she also worked with us on my daughter's engagement (before COVID) party, the rehearsal dinner, programs, dinner menus, and place setting signage.

I ordered a few items and received them a few short days after placing the order. The items were all excellent, and the quality was amazing! This boutique is hands down the best one out there. Last December, I was shopping around for the Snoop Dogg cookbook (From Crook to Cook) as a white elephant gift, and it was sold out everywhere (even online). In my search, I discovered this shop might have some in stock so I headed over to the west loop to check it out. They not only have books, but all kinds of curated goodies and gifts. If I lived nearby, I'd pop in all the time just because I had so much fun browsing! And the woman working was so friendly and helpful

I LOVE this store! It’s my go-to one stop shop for all of the gifts I need for literally any occasion. The staff is friendly and the woman working was quick to help me pick out the most special engagement gift and even wrapped it up for me. Couldn’t recommend It enough- I Hope they stay in the west loop forever!

They are my go-to boutique for special gifts - teachers, wedding, and baby. I continue to get compliments from my friends on the wedding gift I purchased here. (A custom frame with location and wedding info) Very unique and memorable. I have also used the store for stationary and a baby announcement. They were great to work with and knowledgeable.

What a fun little gift boutique! I came here looking for a bridal shower gift and left with a book that you fill out called "The Story of Us" and a ring cleaner. They gift wrapped it all and even provided a gift receipt, which I appreciated. It was a little expensive--$44 for the two, but I'm willing to shell out a little more cash to support a local business.
They have a lot of cards, scarves, stuffed animals for kids, and fun little gifts, and they also print custom coasters and wedding invitations. What a nice do-it-all gift shop.

I am in love with this store!! My fiance and I stopped in randomly one Saturday and I noticed that they did customized stationary. I was able to take a quick sneak peak at a few sample invitations and made an appointment to meet with Erin a few days later.
I loved the time spent during our meeting and the ability to touch and feel the product before placing an order. The creative design process was such a breeze!

If I could give Smitten Boutique more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! I recently planned my wedding and decided to get acrylic invitations off of Etsy. While I loved the invitations, I quickly realized that I was going to have to get custom pockets for the invitations as well as insert cards. I called several places in Chicago and could not find a place that would help me with this custom order, until I contacted Smitten.
When I inquired about my custom order I was connected with Erin Quinn who is a lifesaver and is incredibly good at what she does. Stationary is not something that I know

This place was so easy to work with, for us it was because of Erin, she is hands down the best in the business! We spent a fortune on wedding related paper (menus, invitations, ceremony cards, etc.) but we got what we paid for. Both the quality of our products and the service were phenomenal. This place is such a gem. I work in the neighborhood and always come here when I need to grab a little somethin' somethin' for special occasions. You need bridal shower gifts? This place has them. That bride is now having a baby? Come back to this store--they got the cutest baby gift selection. It's your mom's birthday, and she always says that she doesn't want anything but you know deep down she's lying? This place has something for her too. I wish I had a better experience with my wedding invitations at Smitten Boutique because Erin was so nice and in the end the invitations turned out looking great.
Unfortunately, nothing seemed to go according to plan- Smitten seemed apologetic at the long delays and missed details but they were very nonchalant about the challenges we faced. It was extremely frustrating and a low point of wedding planning.
Smitten chose Kleinfeld as the vendor to produce our custom wedding invitations. They have a 7-business day guaranteed turn-around time, yet my invitations took almost 20 days due to "

Smitten Boutique has been around since '07, and it offers items in planning for a wedding, gifts for a baby, a variety of paper goods, and home decorative items. There is a nice selection of accessories, greeting cards, candles, babywear, and other various trinkets. I liked the bow paper clips and the cute customizable wedding hanger (where the wire forms your name) :D The staff here are slightly friendly, but allow you to roam around the store at your leisure. Parking can be found along Madison.

SB is a cute lil' boutique that I would be stalking everyday if i were a bride, as they constantly have wedding "meetings" when I'm looking through stuff and also, because they have lots of jewelry and cards and stationery on display. I go there mainly to shop for my daughter, they have an OK collection of clothes which are heavily overpriced but the toys are the best!! The staff is very helpful too.
