My husband lived at A Banyan Residence for 16 months before he passed away and I could not have been happier with the care he received. The staff was very kind and attentive and I was welcome to visit at any time. It is never easy to place a loved one in a facility but he was happy there and knowing he was well cared for gave me piece of mind. A Banyan Residence is family owned so each time I called or emailed I actually talked with a family member who knew my husband by name. I would highly recommend this facility.

I am really pleased to do a review of A Banyan Residence in Venice, Florida. My husband and I moved to Venice from Massachusetts a couple of months ago and shortly after we arrived, we began touring assisted living facilities nearby for my mom.
When we visited the Banyan in Venice, we knew instantly that this was the right place for my mom and for us. It was nothing like we had ever seen before; from amazing tropical gardens and meticulous grounds to the vitality and happiness of the residents.

A Banyan Residence is a great company to work for! Residents and their families are very nice and caring! Management is great! They receive you with open arms. Everyone is nice! We all get along very well and work together to give the residents the care that they deserve. The residents can agree that they feel at home here, and the ambiance is very family oriented. My family members and I were forced to make the difficult decision to place my father-in-law in an assisted living facility. After thoroughly researching and visiting 8 memory care facilities near me, I can unequivocally say that was the best selection for my family concerns. This retirement is one of the finest retirement homes in Venice, they treat the residence with so much love and care. My parents have lived at Banyan Residence for a year now, and I can’t say enough about the peace of mind that has come to me and my parents. I know that they are looked after in every way, I still visit them daily, but only for pleasure. This is an amazing facility. If you want your loved one to be treated like family this is the place! There is such a sense of family and community here. The grounds are stunning and it’s like being at a resort! The staff is knowledgeable and so very compassionate! Beautiful residence and a very warm friendly environment....I highly recommend!
