How do septic systems work? A septic tank system uses natural processes to treat and dispose of the wastewater generated in your home or business. The system typically consists of a septic tank and a drain field, or soil absorption field. Your septic tank provides the first step in treatment.
As wastewater flows into the tank, the heavier solids settle to the bottom to form a sludge layer, and the lighter solids, greases, and oils float to the top to form a scum layer. The liquid wastewater from the tank flows into gravel-filled trenches in a typical drain field where it is distributed via perforated pipes and then treated by the natural soil system.

We had a drain field failure that caused our entire septic system to back up. I called Buds and spoke with Stephanie who helped me trouble shoot three possible fixes over the phone late one evening, which ended up not working. Stephanie was able to squeeze us into their schedule because we had family coming in town and they were able to come pump out the septic tank which showed our drain field had failed (once liquid was pumped from the tank, the liquid in the drain field was flowing back to the tank). The tech on site explained why this was happening and advised a new drain field would be required

We were having issue with our septic tank and Bud's was very quick to respond. Lazaro was extremely professional and quick to diagnose our problem. Turns out the problem wasn't what we thought (thankfully). He was upfront and honest about what was needed to fix our problem. I highly recommend this company as they will not overcharge you and lead you to believe that you need something done that isn't necessary. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful!!

We have had to call Bud's Septic a couple times and Stephanie and her team have always been amazing. They are always very responsive and quick, have gone above and beyond every time I have called; they do everything they can to make sure you and your family are at least able to use your home properly until repairs are made. Lazarus and Xavier have each been out twice and have been nothing but nice, professional, and knowledgeable and willing to explain what is going on; they are both a great asset from a customers perspective. Once we were ready to replace the drain field we called Stephanie at

I called Bud's Septic to hire their services. From Stephanie who handles the calls and scheduling to Kevin and Laz, the hard working men who came to our home, everything was preformed professionally. Stephanie is wonderful at following up and the gentleman were very courteous. I was particularly grateful, they even purchased additional sections of hose so their truck could remain on the street ( Not on my pavered driveway) since the septic was 130 ft in the backyard. Now that to me is great customer service!

I really can't say enough good things about the amazing service I received from the folks at Bud's. Stephanie was prompt with updates and was extremely helpful. Russell was able to squeeze in an emergency stop on his way home to address a clogged filter at my rental unit. I will definitely be using them for all my septic services in the future!
