Services
Azari has employed a traditional process of cleaning handmade rugs for over 25 years. Our process begins by gently bathing your rug to loosen deeply embedded soil. Next we apply our hand mixed and environmentally-friendly shampoo, scrub your rug, and give extra attention to the soiled areas. Finally, your rug gets a rinse and is hung to air dry.

We understand how busy life can be, so we want to make the rug purchasing process as easy as possbile. We will come to your home, observe the rooms in which you would like to place a rug, and make recommendations about the appropriate size, design, and color.
Our experts provide professional repair and restoration services for all of your floor coverings, specializing in hand-made Persian, Oriental and Navajo rugs. This service is available for both rugs purchased at Azari as well as previously purchased rugs. We believe your rug should be evaluated often to prevent tears, worn spots or frazzled ends before becoming a larger, more expensive restoration.
Vacuuming is one of the best preventative measures for keeping your rug healthy and restoring life to the natural fibers. Vacuum regularly but be careful not to vacuum the fringe. This isn't good for the rug or the vacuum cleaner! Rug Padding is recommended for all rugs that receive any amount of foot traffic.

If you need a rug, come to this place!! I spent a bunch of time trying to find something online, but am glad I decided to pick out something in person instead. The quality of rugs was way better than stuff I’ve found online— this store had rugs from all over the world. The staff was friendly. They asked questions to figure out what style I liked, and helped me find something within my budget. I live in a small apartment and needed something that would add texture and warmth to my study area, and had fun finding the perfect thing amidst the large stockpile of rugs. The owner has been in business

I had a great experience with Azari Rug Gallery. I have a gorgeous Persian tribal rug that I got from a local Iranian family. Unfortunately, my dog decided to chew 2 areas of the rug while chewing a bone. I took the rug into Azari and their expert weavers made the damage disappear. They also cleaned the rug so it looks beautiful and they recommended a superior carpet pad. Now this treasured piece of art will last many more years. Thank you Azari Rug Gallery!

A well-run, beautifully appointed shop in the heart of Denver's antique district. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the selection outstanding, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. I had a badly treated Persian rug which they cleaned and took great care to restore at a fair price. It is a pleasure working with them.

What a super experience. We've shopped at Azari Rug Gallery previously (and purchased two rugs). We needed rugs for a new home in Santa Fe. After some online shopping and previewing, I requested prices on about a 1/2 dozen rugs and Melissa had them to me in a about an hour. I made and appointment the next day and after a pulling the rugs, we came to some quick conclusions about the direction I was going. Cut to a trip downstairs, we pulled several more, unrolled them upstairs to preview and narrowed things down in no time. Everyone couldn't have been more helpful and offered great suggestions.

Beautiful rugs! We've had one rug for 10 years and recently bought another I found in their website's "bargain bin." It's about 10x13 and had a couple of worn areas that we were okay with because it sits under living room furniture. Still, the owner had his staff work on the worn areas for a few days, and wow! It's as beautiful as ever! Highly recommend this business!

Today I received my third rug cleaned by Azari Rug Gallery. I am so grateful they were able to "save" my entry rug that was spotted from sippy cup drips of all kinds, outdoor stains, and 2 years of foot traffic including construction workers.
The staff and follow up are reassuring and accommodating as well as genuinely joyful and grateful.
Rug pickup and delivery happened in less than a week and Evan even changed delivery time at the last minute to meet my impulsive whims.
Kudos to this company in every area.

Jay and his staff are absolutely amazing. They are knowledgeable, patient, warm, and absolute gems! We found the perfect rug for my client's home and we were given a fair price. They educated us on the different types of rugs, sorted through endless stacks, and let us try the rugs in our space. Our new rug (6 X 9) arrived today from Azari Rug Gallery, and we are totally thrilled with it. This is the first time we ever purchased a Persian rug on-line, and we were quite apprehensive. However, the rug was exactly as represented, and the colors were true to the photos. In fact, the rug looks better than the photos. Evan was terrific and totally honest and reliable. We will gladly buy from Azari again.

This store is a Denver treasure over the decades it's been here. They offer an extensive selection of handmade rugs and other decor such as pillows and weaving. You can spend a lot on a carpet you can own for a lifetime or buy a very reasonably priced unique pillow. It's fun to look around and the building is historic with original tin ceiling. Over a number of years, we've purchased two carpets and several pillows. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They also repair carpets.

I had passed this shop for several years, thinking "This is a Real Rug Store." I never expected to get to see the rugs inside. I was extremely surprised when my husband suggested that that's where we go to get a nice large carpet for our new house. He was surprised as well when we went in-- he hadn't realized it was a source for this kind of carpet.
And that we bought a very beautiful carpet here should tell you

Add an interior design intern, I've had some crazy experiences working with clients already. The client experience does not necessarily involve the purchasing or fixing of furniture, and that's part of why they use design professionals; let us do the dirty work! Lol. One client of ours have a rug that started to fray pretty quickly, and the manufacturer discontinued it (for the fraying problem.) Unfortunately, this rug couldn't be replaced, and we brought it to Azari for repair. To say that Jay and Tessa went above and beyond to get this repaired to our clients satisfaction
