Excellent pharmacy and pharmacist, very knowledgeable staff. Clean and quiet, which is more than I can say for chain pharmacies. I get my vaccines (flu and COVID) here. No appointment necessary.

This happens to be a very good drug store that delivers name brand medicines at a reasonable price. All of the meds that I have purchased through this store have been the exact product my doctor listed. All of the products were labeled with the original manufacturer's identity and location with the date of manufacture and expiration. I am certainly glad that I found this pharmacy. Great job.

Conveniently located Pharmacy located in downtown LA that has very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Steer clear of the corporate pharmacy, who only cares about the bottom line profits, and support local small business.

I go in one morning to pick my medicine owner it,'s not ready go's to the back leave's me standing there I go looking for him I ask for my medicine come back later I'm here by myself nobody in the store. one of many uncomfortable visit

First visit there, can't locate some specialty items..clerk went out of her way to help me find what I needed. Pleasant experience, small journey/walk from work coming from Bunker Hill 5th/Grand..will visit again.

Forget the big guys like Uptown Drug and Gift Shop. It's all about Discount Medical Pharmacy! This place offers the personalized service-oriented, customer-centered care that only exists in the olden days!

I truly truly really find ALL of the workers at, "UPTOWN PHARMACY", especially, "LADY JoANN", she always listen to me..I would like to be .One of the 1st million customers to say,

With my Folic Acid for anemia needing refilled I called this morning. They quickly confirmed my identity and pulled up my records. They said they'd contact my doctor's office for approval of a refill.

Around 6:30 p.m. the deliveryman dropped it off. The bag included a receipt and instructions along with the Folic Acid. Excellent service and no fee for delivery. Very satisfied!

This is NOT a compounding pharmacy anymore. Please update in YELP database. I just went there this morning and they told me they have not been a compounding pharmacy for years.

I very very rarely write yelp reviews but as someone who works in a customer facing environment I had to leave my two cents here. Let me preface my feedback by saying that this is both a small gift shop and a drug store (the word "gifts" is in the stores name). It also happens to be one of the few places to buy greeting cards in Bunker Hill. As such, I stopped in to buy three cards to celebrate various occasions for co-workers and was told there was a $10 minimum for credit card use. My total (because their cards are 50% off) came to under $10. I looked around to find something else to

I have used this drug store for years now (as I work downtown) and must say that they are friendly, efficient and have a great and well priced assortment of health stuff plus gifts and goodies.

Giving this place three stars because they advertise for compounding services and do not supply them. They said they will be doing that in the future, but honestly it's a tad frustrating to drive to the most congested part of downtown LA to find that their Yelp wasn't entirely accurate.

BUT, that being said, really nice shop. The staff was friendly.

Everyone here is very help full I was starting a new diet where i needed to do a complete flush. the pharmacist there was very nice and gave me a lot of options where I was able to choose the best fit for me.

This pharmacy is great. They not only help with getting your meds but they have such cool gifts. Every time I forget a birthday or something I come by and get a cute gift. People really love the stuff too!!

This is an old fashion ma and pa run pharmacy where service is the key ingredient. The sundries or gift shop part of the store hires staff that care and will to be your personal shopper and give you great deals. It's very much like a boutique with unusual gifts; I always get compliments when I purchase gifts. Very service oriented. The pharmacy is professional and discreet and fills orders unbelievably quickly. I have moved away and they still take care of me in my distant spot.

This is a go to spot for a last minute greeting card run or a quick gift run. Conveniently located at the northeast corner of 5th and Figueroa, I know I always have a backup plan.

The store itself is not big but not small either. So far I did not have to make a second run to a different store after stopping at this one.

A pharmacy with a very convenient location and a great staff on board. There are not only all of your pharmacy needs, but a lot of other essentials you may need to grab like a birthday card or small gift for a birthday or anniversary.

Uptown is perfectly convenient to get my prescriptions. I love that I don't have to wait very long, like I do at CVS. But, my favorite part is that it's a "Mom & Pop" business. You don't see many of them around anymore, so you can actually tell the staff take pride in what they do and that's to really help people.

This is not a fancy drug store....but it is very convenient for downtown LA.

You can get your drug store brand cosmetics, pharmacy prescription, gifts and greeting cards here. I was surprised to see cute stuff here: porcelain cupcakes, baby gifts, note pads, and even love tokens.

Uptown Drugs & Gift Shoppe United Drugs is downtownlicious!!

The pharmacy is convenient to those who work in downtown and I got my prescription in minutes! Oh and friendly staff too. Highly recommended.

I love these independent pharmacies. They have such cool stuff. This one has a lot of unique cards and gifts, and a decent selection of cosmetics. I found a jumbo stuffed penguin here. The service is old fashioned: friendly and thorough.
